Afternoon Margot! I've been off setting the good work of exercise with having some treats over the weekend so I'm probably just about even at the moment! Went for a short run both on Saturday and Sunday and then Sunday afternoon we strolled at least 2 miles which will have helped.
Back on it properly today. I'm at work and won't have time to do any exercise today.
Breakfast was cereal and fruit
Lunch is salad
Dinner is baked prawns, chorizo, rice and peas

I'm thinking of joining you all next week. Can I ask for experiences, those who bfed, did dieting affect your supply at all? I'm not thinking of following a specific plan, just cut out the unhealthy snacking so I'm thinking it shouldn't have too much effect
Also those who had sections, how long did you wait before exercising? I'm not planning on going running anytime soon, more thinking gentle walks and some abs exercises I found online which are more about tensing muscles and breathing, not actual sit ups

Hi ladies thought I would start joining in again, not weighed myself in ages but will do it this week!
Margot-smoked salmon cous cous sounds amazing! I find it's easier to get more motivation when I think of summer clothes!
Cedar- well done on the exercise this weekend!
Weekender- no bF advice but I did have a section. I was walking about 2 miles with the buggy after a week, starting running again after my 6 week check. Abs exercises are good, did the hospital physio give you any, the ones I was given were quite good!
Breakfast- rice pops
Lunch- tuna sandwich and a sneaky bag of crisps
Dinner- pork stir fry with lots of veg!

Hello ladies!! I'm just recovering from a sickness bug which is obviously horrid but have to say it works wonders for the weight loss! Have lost 3lb over the weekend. I expect there's potential for this to be regained easily when I start eating again though.

Hi Frankie, seems wrong to say 'well done' on the weight loss when it was done in such a horrid way! But hope some of that stays off and that you are feeling better.
Weekender I am pretty sure that Margot has been BF so she'll have more recent advice. From when my daughter was small I wasn't actively dieting but the BF clearly did help keep the weight off.
Definitely get the abs checked. I didn't have a Csection but did a buggy fit exercise class and the trainer checked all our abs before she'd let us do any of the stomach crunches. I think - from memory which is quite hazy now - she thought that for most women it was going to be between 6 and 12 weeks for them to be OK, depending on the birth.

I know it's Tuesday but I got here in the end!!
Margot - Hope you manage to get some training in, a buggy run sounds good but pretty hardcore :) Summer clothes are also giving me the push atm. Have just got them out of the loft and I swear they've got smaller!
Cedar - Well done on both the run and the 2 mile stroll, no wonder you needed a couple of treats ;) Your dinner sounds very tasty, I always find it easier to stay off the cakes when we have something nice for dinner. It doesn't feel like a diet then.
Weekender - Hi :) I'm afraid I didn't diet at all when BF so can't offer any info. I guess I would just think as long as you are eating enough, not doing a CC diet you would be fine. I'm sure I didn't need a cake a day to keep up my supply, but it was just what happened ;) I was pretty jammy with BF as the weight fell off despite said cakes, but I'm paying for it now I've stopped. Hope your stomach does feel ok when you start the exercise.
Noodle - Ha ha at sneaky bag of crisps! Essential with a sandwich ;) Pork stir fry sounds delicious.
Frankie - Sorry to hear about your tummy bug, but definite silver lining with 3lb in 2 days!! hope you are feeling better now.
Afm, since joining last week I have been awful! It was like I went on an anti diet rampage! I did do more walking than usual, but was also like some unstoppable calorie machine! So I'm not going to WI until next Friday, as if anything, I must be heavier than I was last week :/ Managed to do some wii fit this morning while S napped, and am going to try and prioritise that a couple of times a week. The upward turn in the weather is a definite motivator!
