I am really suffering from this at the mo, more so than ever before. I find I feel really cross, and angry inside about things, but I don't really realise that I'm being unreasonable about things till I look back. An example being a post I wrote on here the other day about H and I ... If you go to read it now, please don't bump it up.
Does anyone else get like this? It bothers me as I'm normally quite easy going about stuff. When I feel like this it feels all consuming, and normally lasts about 2 days. Is there anything that would help these feelings?

I could have written that exact post last week. Since coming off the pill over a year ago my moods have definitely been worse in the three days before I'm due. This time it was earlier than expected but I only put two and two together when AF arrived earlier than I was expecting. If there's any good suggestions I'd love to hear them....as would my H who has had four years of me on the pill with no mood swings and freely admits he has had no experience if what to do when I'm hit by the moody stick (duck and stay out the way springs to mind!!!)

I am exactly the same. My husband just knows to ignore me at those times of the month, because I'll just be ranting about nothing.
Chocolate helps. Exercise is meant to be good too, but I prefer the chocolate!

thanks for replies, have you found it be worse the older you get? My periods have been heavier since having O this seems to go hand in hand with being more hormonal.

I get baaaaaad PMT. My periods are a little irregular so I'm never quite sure when the PMT will strike, but I know instantly when it does, as it's like someone flicked a switch in me and I become moody, raaaaaa-y and everything is H's fault.

And yes, my periods are heavier now than ever and the pmt does seem to be getting worse. Mine lasts anything from one day to a week.

What contraception are you on ML? Just wondering if that's having an effect? I'm worse since coming off the pill. The way I manage it is by knowing my cycles, so a few data before I'm due I muster up inner patience and grit my teeth then take the rubbish out and bang the bin lid a few times
I know some people use Starflower (is that right anyone?) but I've never tried it.
Lots of love xx

I'm not on anything Beez, having the coil fitted soon so just using condoms atm. This is the first time since I was 18 that I've gone a length of time without being on the pill, other than when ttc.
Will have to read up on Starflower x
