And what did they take? C's change bag. Which had nothing in it, but as some of you will remember, I loved that bag. But its only a thing. And nothing was in it.
But the fooker broke two windows and smashed glass all over C's car seat.
The only highlight was the MF came straight over and took the glass samples the police had asked for, removed all the glass from the frames and swept the road. Seeing him tonight to say thank you
I've seGoethe Autoglass add but didn't realise HOW simple it was to use them? They did everything, didn't even need to tell my insurer?! They could me my excess and were putting perspex in a couple of hours later. New glass fitted Monday. I live in a nice village so I'm gutted that it's happened here. Only had the car a few weeks too.
But relatively I was calm and 'ah well' about it all. I think recent traumas have helped me not be so melodramatic!

"at least" the bag is all they took (can't remember, is your change bag one that looked like a normal handbag, rather than obviously a changing bag?)
Autoglass sound good too. Glad it was simple to sort, and yay for MF coming to help.

Yes AK good memory, it was black leather. And I stupidly left it in the footwell so can only blame myself.

B*astards! I had a brown leather handbag so I was always conscious of leaving it in the car.
Glad you've got it all sorted and ML friend is coming over later! ;)

I guess whoever broke in to your car, thought they had hit the jackpot, finding a "handbag". To$$ers.

That is pants, I hope you had left a shitty nappy in there that would have been perfect. Autoglass sound brillaintly - I've not had to use them yet so now know they are very helpful

Glad there was nothing too valuable to take. In march some fecker broke into my car, I saw him, my h and his brother ran after him, caught him, kept him until the police got there and the skip rat is trying to get them both done for assault. I googled him and he has got over 200 convictions!!!

SW that makes me maaaaaad!
30/06/2013 at 09:20
Don't get me started, on the night it happened, they arrested h and his brother and kept them in the cells for 17 hours, I was out of my mind with worry. It's still going on, they were bailed until 15th July. The bloke who did it said he was never in the car he was walking down the street, minding his own businesswomen 2 blokes ran out the house and started chasing him for no reason - wtf?
30/06/2013 at 09:25
They arrested your H?! I didn't know that!!! Awful.
30/06/2013 at 09:31
Yeah it was horrible, they also searched my house and kids bedrooms, thankfully J was asleep but I had to move E into my room while they searched hers, it was horrible and I still feel ill when I think about it.
30/06/2013 at 10:10
Omg SW I didn't realise that! What did they search the house for?? What a scumbag
30/06/2013 at 10:15
