After I was awarded a bonus at work we decided to give Harry a small allowance to be allowed to decorate his areas however he wants, and we'd help. I'd previously refused to spend even a pound on 'the tip' but I'm trying to get him more organised/tidy for his own sake. We all traipse up to the top floor, dog at the front and fat preggo lady at the back. As I get there he's screwing a light bulb up in his front room.
We chat through the plan, make some decisions about various things, and I go to his bedroom to check clothes storage space as we've a wardrobe we can donate to him. But the lightswitch does nothing.
He unscrews the bulb and brings it through to the bedroom, screws it in and hey presto! We have light :)
He's not sure how long he's been moving the bulb between rooms but he thinks his bedroom bulb went in November. It took him a while to click that he could borrow the one from the other room.
He works at a supermarket! He's frequently asked if he needs anything from the shops... What a complete doughnut!

At least he knows how to change a lightbulb Just not how to buy a new one!
