It's a no from me, it looks like they're a few months into trying to grow out their colour.

Deedee - yep, it doesn't give off a classy look. But if its FASHION does it make it ok?

Nope, "fashion" doesn't make it OK.
It looks horrid (says the girl with neon bright hair)

I work at a hair salon and I am sick of seeing this style! I think on some people it can look better but only when the ends aren't much lighter than the roots. We've got two people at work who have it, and one looks good, quite natural, and as elegant as this look can be (which isn't majorly IMO!). The second girl looks likes she has let a nursery class of kids paint the ends of her hair. It looks god-awful.

I personally dont like this style - its too trendy to look good - to me it looks like you are growing out a colour.

I so feel like doing it though [stamps feet]
Maybe I could just redo it brown if it goes wrong?
However I have always fancied a pink streak in my hair... Any tips AK

I like dip dye but think you gotta go crazy with it rather than look like 9months of growing it out. K has asked for hers to be dip dyed but weve said no cos of school.

I quite like it tbh. In desperate need of doing something with my hair and tempted to give this a try.
