She is so lovely, does so much for us.
My H was due to come home from hospital today, he's been at Portsmouth which is about an hour and a half from us, I was going to leave E with my dad and take O with me and hope he would sleep for most of it! My mum is away this weekend and my dad couldn't manage both my boys on his own.
Anyway it was snowing so hard this morning I was really worried about doing the journey with O so my SIL and her husband said they would do it- they live in Buckinghamshire so it was about 3 hrs to Portsmouth for them, then and hour and a half to our house to drop off H, then an hour and a half back home.
They are truly fab.
They have also treated us to our holiday to Portugal in June.
We are very lucky to have wonderful family

thanks for the replies, my H is doing ok.. last September he had an op to remove his colon as he'd been suffering colitis for some time. Obviously a major op so a v difficult time. When they did the biopsy of the colon they found a cancerous tumour. long story short this week he just had his op to connect up a 'j pouch' inside him (so like a fake bowel, they made the pouch in Sept but had to wait to let it heal to connect it)
Its been a pretty horrid year tbh but hopefully now he'll make a good recovery. There's lots of possible side effects with this pouch we're worried about, fingers crossed he's ok
Oh, and O is over the pox now, still a bit clingy but getting there! He had a pretty bad dose bless him.
