What are your plans for New Year's Eve?
Not very exciting for us, we usually go into town during the afternoon and then eat out about tea time, a Chinese or something then head back home put the kids to bed and the. Stay up to see in the new year and then go to bed.
My sister usually has a party new year and last we stayed till about 10pm as we wanted to get back to put the kids to bed, but this year she is away so we will just head home

Just discussing this. We were gonna stay down at the inlaws till after so we could maybe see who's about at the local but is rather we head home I think before. So probably a quiet one in unless we go out for tea. Do you think restaurants will be booked up already? Just chain ones like chiquitos etc?

Might be worth calling to book a table if there is a certain restaurant or time you want to go. We tend to go tea time 5/6pm ish so not busy at that time especially at a Chinese restaurant

Staying in. One of my best friends is coming over for the night, her H is a copper and on duty and I didn't want her to be at home by herself. We'll probably have a few glasses of wine and food :)

For the first year ever I just can't be bothered. Think ill have a night in front of the TV eating the remainder of my Xmas chocolates. Boring I know but I'm just not feeling it this year.

Swaying between can't be bothered and hitting the town...will likely just decide on the day. There used to be a city centre street party and it was great, but they done away with it a few years ago and I've been lost ever since.
