It must be so frustrating sorry they have cancelled the original appointment, I wish some people woukd just listen and not jump to conclusions! I hope it gets sorted soon

How frustrating Carol, and totally ridiculous, why not just try and fit the sedation in around the appointmnet that has been made or alter the booking to a point where sedation is available? poor you and poor Luke. he is very happy you know to have you fighting his corner

Totally ridiculous. The NHS is such a brilliant service in so many ways but really seems to struggle with basics outside of the norm. Hope you get it sorted and they manage to give Luke the scan and that everything is OK.
My H has to have a routine operation which will take place next week. When he got the appointment for the pre op assessment he told them that he couldn't have the op in early Jan as hes too busy at work. They make a note of this but send him an appointment in early Jan. He then has to make 3 separate attempts to cancel the appointment and get a different date. Every single time he speaks to someone who says its noted down but he hears nothing so phones up to check, finds the first appointment not cancelled. 3 times this happens! He was finally reduced to emailing the surgeon - suddenly everything is sorted. Its no wonder they get so many missed appointments - half the time the patient probably thinks they've cancelled.
Anyway rant over!
