Does anyone know where I can get a nice photo frame for size 7 x 5 and a half? I had professional photos done of the girls and the one I'm giving to my parents is an odd size and it seems impossible to find anywhere that sells this size, most of them are 7 x 5 or 6 x 4. It's really irritating me now! I bought a 7 x 5 thinking it would be ok and that I could just cut a bit off the photo but it turns out it will look rubbish cos I'd be cutting off A's arm and part of her hair!

You need to go bigger and either frame it with a border or centre it on a white / dark background. What a stupid size to have to find!

I know, I'm annoyed because it was professionally done so you'd think they'd know about sizes and finding frames to fit! I hadn't thought about going bigger and framing it, think that's going to be the only option thanks.

I accidentally ordered prints from Photobox this size. They didn't fit properly in the photo album I'd bought. It used to be the first size that came up when you ordered prints on their website. No idea why as its not the standard size for frames. As Belle says, go bigger and put a border around it. I bet it will look really good in the end.

I can explain! The tog probably shot on full frame and a 7.5 x 5 print fits the whole image better than a 7x5 print as it'd need to be cropped. WBS, can you find a mount to fit that size?
I found this link www.mapleframing.co.uk/.../freedom_7hx5.html otherwise if you have a local framer nearby they would probably stock the right size.

What a pain Cedar, what did you do with the pics if you couldn't get them in the album?
Thanks Sshh! The whole picture is filled with the girl's image if you know what I mean so it does make sense why've they done it I suppose. Thanks for the link, I'm not keen on having that much of a border in that frame though. I think I will just go up one size and put a small border around it.

I had to buy an album where you stick the pictures in yourself rather than one with sleeves in it. Which meant it took me ages to get around to doing anything with the photos.

I've just stupidly ordered 7x5 because of this thread instead of 6x4! £4 down the pan!
