hi there again but im packing my hospital bag and have no idea what type of pads and stuff to get... what would you reccomend?

lansinoh do the best breast pads. i had v leaky boobs for at least 6 months after each of my 3 so tried loads of different ones. although expensive they are so good it's worth it. fatter ones show up under clothes too much and make you look like you have monkey nipples!! and cheaper versions e.g. Boots slimline weren't as absorbant and would sometimes burst. if you find you're not too leaky(!) the cheaper Boots ones would probably be ok.
towels - get fat ones for first couple of days then switch to normal always or similar but get heavy flow ones!
Good luck! Babies are the best!!

Pads I used Tesco's own/Boots own.Get proper maternity ones ,ordinary big ones won't be absorbant enough.Think I got through three maybe four packs of those, then moved onto the biggest ordinary ones once it got less.Different women have different needs .No need to buy expensive, own brands are just as good.
I also got disposable maternity briefs, just for the first few days. Some women hate them,I just didn't want to be washing the first few days,or sending stuff like that home from hospital.
I can't use disposable breast pads something in them irritates my skin, but I've never tried the Lansinoh ones.I know their nipple cream is the only one I don't get a reaction too,so I expect they'd be good.I had washable ones for at home with those I breastfed.Don't be without the Lansinoh cream,it's very very good, well worth its price.

im glad the others beat me too it, i only needed normal pads, but after my sections i was given a jab to reduce the blood loss/flow, im not too sure, my mum sayes im lucky though.
anyway id also say lansinoh ones, slim, and comfy, or the washable ones, they were the best, think mine were avent?
