Who are you and why are you here?
I am a 35 old mum of 2 who lurked on Hitched when pregnant with my first and started posting once he was here. I have a boy and a girl who I absolutely adore but don't really feel the need to ask too much about these days. I like that there are ladies on here with kids of a similar age who I could discuss anything with. I don't really go on BT anymore.
Therefore, I now only really check in on OT and enjoy the general chit chat and also the weight loss thread. The evenings are the only real time I get to sit and actually chat on here so posts during the day on week days are sporadic and brief!
I enjoy this as an outlet and place to chat and will be sad if it fizzles out. I have had a right good laugh on here and genuinely care about the people I have 'met'.

I've been making the effort to post on OT a lot more recently as I'll be very sad to see it disappear if it doesn't pick up. Anyhoo, I'm DS, 30 years old and a mum of two; O, who is 2 and 9 week old L. I like a good natter and try and contribute where I can. I started on Hitched WP then moved onto BT and have stuck around since!

I'm a 28yr old SAHM of two little cheeky boys. T nearly 4 and J 8 months. They are brilliant but very demanding!!
I'm here because I joined Hitched WP when I was getting married in 2009. I then lurked for a while in BT and joined the ttc thread and then the Tri threads. I like chatting about every day life really so spend more time on MD OT. I have met a few of the girls on here and feel lucky to have met some nice ladies.

I am also 35 and have 2 boys aged 3years and my youngest is 19 months. I started out on hitched wedding planning many years ago (have been married 9 years this year), moved to hitched BT when I was TTC my first, then moved here. Agree it is very quiet here lately, I occasionally pop to hitched OT but don't know anyone there. I do go to MD baby talk and post occasionally if I feel I can add anything.

I'm 25, 2 children (7 years and 9 months). I'm trying to make a bit more of an effort over here now. I don't feel I have as many questions for bt now so find myself lurking a lot. That may change in 2 weeks though when I'm back at work after maternity.
I'm a 27 yr old SAHM to 2 boys aged 9yrs and 21 months, and step Mum to an 8yr old girl, and 5 yr old boy.
I started on Hitched when I was 19, planning my first wedding. I called it off 2 months before the big day, as I found out my fiance was sh@gging my sister. I was AWOL for awhile, until fiance number 2, which also ended. Finally, after 7 or so years of Hitching, I married my H.
I post more on OT than BT, as my baby days are over.

I'm a 36 mum of one. Been on hitched since 2004, planned my wedding & just moved to BT. I was kinda interested in weddings, kinda interested in babies, however, I've always looked at this as a place to chat with like minded people, my top topics are Eastenders, vodka, beauty treatments & clothes lol. I don't share a lot on here, but I have made some good friends & I'd be really sad to see it go.

I'm 33, mum of a 4 year old and a 6 year old - my baby days are long gone! (until I can persuade H to let us foster some...... which won't be for some years yet).
I'm here because tbh I can't quite make the break. I have days when I check in a lot and then go several days where I don't even look.
BT doesn't interest me half as much anymore - I don't get anything from it now, it's just me passing on advice but getting nothing in return (I know that's selfish) so I'm less likely to be there nowadays, but I do check it every now and then.
I was on hitched from 2005 when planning my wedding - but joined out of curiosity and to laugh with H at all the posts wondering why the hell people would ask on a forum for wedding planning advice - it was just a source of amusement to me then. I didn't post until I got pregnant with #1 and overnight came the realisation that the people in my computer were actually a decent bunch who could offer a lot of much needed support.
