Need to get sorted tonight and tomorrow night. Any obvious bits I've forgotten?
Clothes / shoes & wellies / big coats & jacketsDuvets & blanketsAs many towels as space will allow (will spend half my time in the laundrette drying them!)Swimming stuffToiletries - shampoo / conditioner, shower gels, face wash, flannels, shaving gels, razor, body creams, toothpaste & brushes, floss, calpol, paracetamolBath mat, tea towels, bin bags, washing up stuff, matches, torch
Anything glaringly obvious?

Condiments, tea, coffe, milk, oil, margarine, jam, food - although you might not be taking that sort of stuff? Hot water bottles if you have them.
if your staying at a haven i wouldn't bother with the laundrette, it works out at roughly £5 per wash and £10 for 1hrs tumble drying!

Hair dryer? Straighteners?
Not staying at a Haven no, I'd use one off site at those prices!
We'll take some cereals but tend to literally just sleep in the van and eat all meals out. But milk beers and cereal are on list.

Stuff for L to play with, books for night time, scooter, that kind of thing?

God hairdryer are straightners are essentials I don't even think to list them. They come before knickers and after makeup
Scooter is a good call. We're taking Gs iPad and the laptop with dvds, plus books.

Think you've got it covered! I'll be borrowing this list in a couple of weeks time for our hols!

Good list!! We are going to center parcs this weekend and it's our first trip away with P so i've been trying to think what we need. Weather is supposed to warm up a bit too but you can't trust it so i'm thinking loads of layering clothes which should cover us for all bases.

Yep we will all be living in vest tees or long sleeve tops then hoodies and coats or body warmers!

I did wonder why you of all people hasn't listed straighteners! There already there!

Do you take anything for L to play with? Unsure if I need to take some bits for R. We are taking bumbo seat for little R. x

Yeah I'd take a few of his toys, I tend to let him pack a backpack for the car which he has cuddly toys, few figures, magazine or books, and no doubt this year his favourite ever game "the shopping list game"

Thats a good idea. I think I'll do similar. H is taking our ipad so he can watch some tele in the car on way up. Will pack his lunch box with snacks aswell for journey up, although H is already planning a KFC for on the way. I don't care what we eat but I NEED to try a krispy Kreme, Heard so much about them... its my mission! I bet they are just regular donuts after being told I need to try them! ha!

L enjoyspacking I left him throw all his stuff in his Trunki then end up repacking it and utilising the space properly once he's asleep. I've got SO much to do tomorrow evening. I've made the girls get their stuff into piles today so I know where I'm at.
Krispy Kreme not a fan myself but then I don't like doghnuts, well only the hot dunkin doughnuts from the funfair

I'm hoping CM will swap days so R can play on the thurs so I can do packing. Trunki sounds like a fab idea. I saw them the other day I may invest in one! Mmmmmm dunkin ones are my fav! I'm not a huge fan either but I feel the need to try them! Ha! Being in Cornwall theres nothing around here. H got so excited when KFC opened up the other day [;O] What day do you leave? Have a great time! :) x

Where in Cornwall are you? Is it still that backwards in terms of things like KFC?! I lived near Newquay for a short while when I was 16. Moved there with a boyfriend. Had to move back after 9months was far too quiet for me.
09/04/2013 at 17:03
I'm in Bodmin about 20 minutes from Newquay! Very backwards! We have KFC in newquay and now St. Austell! Whooo! Ha!! Not alot around at all! I was born in Hillingdon but moved down here when I was about 2 so I suppose its all I have known really! I still have lots of family that I visit and can't believe how behind Cornwall is, but still its home and I would never leave! x

I know Bodmin! I lived in Trevarrian (sp?) Was a gorgeous little village, walk to the beach, and a slighlty longer walk to Watergate Bay....aww I remember I had to join 6th form down there. My first day on the bus I did what all London girls do and sat on the back seat of the upper deck. Little did I know it was upper deck for one school, lower deck for my school I was then known as the psycho from London who dared sit on the others schools seats

you didn't like it much then! Watergate bay is lovely, my sister got married there! Bodmin isn't too bad, I suppose! have you been back since?? X
