We're having a photo shoot at a studio on Thursday and have to have two outfits - first one they say white top, blue jeans and other one bit of colour to match the decor of the room the picture will be hung.

Would me and MrDD wearing black top, and then putting C in something more colourful work?  Not sure if it would be too dark, although I have seen a few pictures online of people doing similar, and saves us having to find a colour that co-ordinates which would probably mean buying something new.

I think you both in a black top might be a bit much. Could one of you wear a different colour of plain top - purple, blue or dark green perhaps?  I think things that are too coordinated are a bit much sometimes but if you two are plain then C could pretty much get away with anything bright and/or patterned.

Thanks Alsi, I don't want too matchy matchy, but I've already sorted what C's wearing (dark red trousers and pale blue and white stripe shirt) so it's not really that easy to match with another plain colour. I think I'm going to have to wear black as I can only think of one top that I'll be happy to wear for the photos, so it's finding something else for MrDD.

What about Mr DD keeping the white top and jeans on? We had some photos done not long after O was born, I didn't have much to wear that fitted so  I wore jeans and black top and H had jeans and a white tshirt. R had a bright pink too and white leggings and O was just in a fancy white vest.

Sorry DD just re-read in Op that you have to take 2 outfits.

Thanks debbydoo, yes we'd like to all have a different outfit for the second lot of photos really.  MrDD's possibly going shopping tomorrow so I might send him to try and find a grey top to wear.
