I have been having a problem for a while with my 4yr old son, he drops off to sleep on the way home from school and i ends up flopping all over the car because the seatbelt doesnt seem to hold him in place. I end up pulling over and wedging my jumper by his head but as soon as we set off he flops forward again. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know what I can do? I dread him falling asleep now as its so distracting.

I think I might be able to help here!! I replied to an advert in my local press, to try and report back on a device that attaches to the car seat belt that holds my child upright in her seat even when sleeping. It does exactly that, she's more comfy, I don't worry about her falling asleep now. I even used to have her on the front seat holding her up with my spare arm! The extra device has been crash tested and approved by the fire service so my little girl wasn't in any danger. Lots of other Mums at school have had the same problem with their car seats that only use the car seat belt to hold their children in place. They just don't seem as safe as the 5 point harnesses. This new thing makes the seat look much safer. I got to keep mine and it's brilliant, so simple and easy to use. They cost less than £20 and can be bought online at www.beltupp.com . Defo worth a try!

Sophia, I don't think you'll be disappointed! The belt has a beltupp logo on it that my little girl plays with when she's sleeping like a taggy!
