My daughter is nearly 13 and for the last 6-8 weeks has had really bad spots on her back...not like zits but real red, under the skin, sore and angry looking spots. It started with 1 or 2 which she cleansed everyday and we used some sudocream on them, But it now covers the top half of her back-she is so self conscious bless her, shw wont go swimming and hates getting changed for pe at school...and paranoid they crop up elsewhere (i.e her face!).
Do we need to see a gp? Or has anyone got any treatment tips we can try?

If they're that severe I'd see the gp. I was the same as a teenager (still have bad skin now but only face affected). The sooner you go the sooner they can give you stuff to try or refer to a dermatologist. Bless her its rubbish x

I second the GP, it will probably need some medication. It really isn't nice and so confidence knocking, hope they do something for her
