I thought it was all secure.I shop on line every week. How can they make that mistake?I'd certainly complain in writing, taking payment for something you neither ordered or received is fraud.
It is worrying what a big company can do with your card details.A couple of years ago,Darren signed up to BT and Sky but after a few phone calls and getting a better deal elsewhere cancelled the same day,so well within the cooling off period. We were assures by Sky and BT that the card details wouldn't be used, and of course believed them.Saturday morning I had a phonecall from Tesco telling me my card wouldn't go through, even though I knew I had the money.Turns out BT took £150 from our account for a phone service we didn't want and we'd been told was cancelled. They took 5 days to refund the money because that was their policy, leaving me £6 to feed a family of 5 kids and 2 adults for the week, cos they'd taken all the shopping money.
It's all very well a big company like Asda telling you it'll be 10 days before you get your money back, but what are you supposed to do in the meantime. That's the last thing you need just when you're getting straight again

were ok, i had £40 in a seperate account so that got nappies wipes milk salad bag of pasta and sarnie bits, thank god for getting the freezer free as we stocked it massively so we have enough meat and bits plus some pasta sauces ive made to last a week, sheer luck trust me, weve never been that well prepared!
To add to it i looked through the post and the bank have charged me, they wont be to pleased to see me on monday morning, IM SOOO CROSS!!!
Asda online will never be used again, id rather pay taxis and risk temptation than my bank account! Anyway the cheeky shits have put delivey upto 5.50 its 6.80 for taxis there and back soo thats that!!!

OMG that is disgusting Laura! This is 1 of the reasons I've not shopped on-line,something like that would happen to me,definately.
It is terrible a company of that stature aren't falling over themselves to rectify this problem, customer satisfaction and all that, and yeah bad of the bank not to notice 2 payments in such sort space of time-especially if over your limit!
I'm lucky I've got a motor I know, but I stick with aldi,it's cheap as chips!! What about a bus? Too much with 2 little ones? God £6+ on taxis is a dear do for you.
I hope you make asda pay your overdraft charges at bank-it is their fault. Complain in writing and go into bank hun. Jo,my mum had a load of crap with BT,just shows larger companies aren't that bothered about their customers-as long as profits are up-balls to us who gave them the profit!
I think tesco is taking over the world at mo-new stores popping up everywhere round here-used to love tesco but finding it very expensive lately and they just keep adding stores all over the place!!!!!!!

we dont have a bus route to our house, because were classed as town centre and the bus stations in town, its about a 30min walk!!! and i could never get a weekly shop and the kids home on my own, the beast is good but not that good lol! when its only £1.30 more for taxis than asdas delivery charge it doesnt seem to bad, and my mate takes me sometimes, and as sad as it sounds i enjoy wandering round chosing stuff with jack or wandering alone in the evening when its so quiet! just darent risk online again!!!
i used to love tescos too but the cost of the shop went up and up and up too quickly asda costs us around £90 max pwk thats nappies washing powder etc and since lolas been born and tesco was never below £110 before lola!!!
going to have words in the bank and see if theyll remove the charges since they should be on the look out for this kind of thing, my account is sooo predictable everyweek the same, asda goes on a friday and rent then rest is withdrawn in lloyds and spent on gas and elec, sooo easy to notice something odd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey the fraud squad rang me first time I bought off internet!!!!!!! I'm even more predictable-Tues aldi, anything from £50 to £100,Thurs £25 off license cigs and stella and the odd top up on phone!!!!!!! How sad am I!!!!!!!!????????
Ask them to remove it,if they wont budge, lean on asda, they cocked up too! Shame bus route not on your doorstep, but if taxi aint much more than delivery spose it's worth it.
I find it hard shopping,Tom walks round which can be a challenge at times,Jc sits in trolley but frequently spins round and lobs stuff outta trolley!!!! Was eggs last week-lucky not 1 broke but was soooo embarassed!!!!!!! Wish aldi was on-line!!!!!!!!! Go to tesco or asda for extra bits-but you end up spending £20 on nothing!!!

We have an arrangement with our bank so that we can never go over the limit. The payment is refused if the funds aren't there,so they can't charge.
We had an account with Lloyds a few years ago.Our rent was at one time paid by direct debit but the council were taking the rent and we were finding not crediting it to our account for a further 15 days in one case, then telling us we hadn't paid,so in the end we told them to cancel the direct debit and paid cash.We thought that would be it,they wouldn't take any more payments, didn't realise we needed to cancel with the bank too and the council took a month's rent from our account even though they knew we'd paid already. All the other payments from the account bounced and we had loads of charges. When I contacted Lloyds they told us to put it in writing with a letter from the council, and they refunded the charges. They were really reasonable that time.Hope yours will be too.
