    Hi there

I am loving a night in on the sofa snuggled up with my hubbie watching a good film at the moment (yep no wild nights out for me just give me a cup of cocoa with that and I'm happy - hehe!!!)

We like pretty much any genre of film and are up for renting, cinema, sky box office etc. Over the weekend just gone we watched Anger Management, Blood Diamond & spirited Away and I am also looking forward to watching Flushed Away that we recorded off sky and tomorrow night I am going out to watch No reservations (a good old rom com I hope)

So Just wanted to ask for any recommendations fo things you have ever seen that you enjoyed!

    Thanks x

Dunno if you've seen it, but I really like the film Tommy Boy, with Chris Farley, David Spade, Bo Derek and Dan Aykroyd. If you like silly comedy like the Adam Sandler type films then you'll like it!

I loved Little Miss Sunshine, which we got out on DVD a month or so ago. Very funny. It was also watching that film that I felt the baby move for the first time!

I love the shawshank redempton and armageddon. I have to say i have probably the biggest dvd collection outside of extravision! [not sure if you have that in England but its a big dvd rental store]. I wouldnt like to count but think ive got in the region of 1000 dvds and a few old videos that i cant bear to part with.

I have recently watched Labyrinth! - a favourite from years ago a bit of a kiddies one but David Bowie in tight trousers & singing is a must! I love period dramas and would recommend the recent 'Pride & Prejudice' starring Keira Knightley. I love 'Phantom of the Opera', Gerard Butler is very sexy as the phantom! Mind you, my other half won't watch these with me - the last thing we watched was 'Snakes on a plane' and I kept hiding behind a cushion for some parts of that! Although he will watch 'Jack & Sarah' with me, I think that is a great Bristish classic...we've seen it loads of times. Frankie x

My fav film of all time has got to be withnail and I (reminds me of the days I used to be able to get absolutely plastered!)

I also love the killing fields makes me cry every time and unbelieveably directed by the same person as withnail and I.

I also have one to avoid and old film I watched the other day it's called Rosemary's baby where poor Rosemary actually gives birth to the devils spawn - very disturbing. Why I chose to watch that while I was preggers is beyond me.

Recent watch includes 300 (about the Spartans) which is very gory but stylized (by same peeps as Sin city). It's a bit Gladiator-esque schmaltz in places but you can't fault the gorgeous looking Gerard Butler (Lara Croft & Phantom of the Opera) for his pecs and amazing bod (tho wish he would ditch the facial hair!)- and the OH will love that you want to watch a "war" film with him (just dont tell him it's for Gerard Butler! ;\)
All time fave (even pips Pretty Woman) has to be THomas Crown Affair (The remake with Pierce Brosnan). A few years old now but still timeless, chemistry is great between the actors and the soundtrack is also good.
For a fantastic family watch (baby included, our 18 week old loved it because he could actually see the black and white images) try Happy Feet.
