My trusty hairdryer blew up after about 10 years this morning Unfortunately they don't stock the same model anymore so I need to get a new one.
Am looking to pop out at lunch to buy one - what would you lovely ladies recommend? I have fairly thick hair and often limited time in the mornings so need something powerful and quick

Mine's powerful and works well, but I wouldn't recommend it since the nozzle thing is always falling off at the slightest knock and it's bloody annoying! Can't remember what make it is anyway, but it wasn't particularly expensive.

DD Superglue the nozzle on, that's what I did with my last one.
Ferbs I'd just go to Boots, look for the hihest watts and different speeds. I think I got a TreSemme one on offer over Christmas for about £25.

Now, I'd thought maybe taping it on, but then thought the tape might melt, didn't think of glue, d'oh! Thanks x

Belle - it's a Remington D3710 Stylist Turbo Dryer
Just been into boots and the lady said that all the hairdryers are going to be half price tomorrow so am going to wait until then to grab myself a bargain. So nice of her to say as would have been annoyed if I bought one today only for it to go down in price tomorrow. Straightners and dry shampoo should see me though until then!

Belle - As Ferbs said its a remmington. It has 2 fans in the back for quick drying but it's not too hot that it burns your hair off! Best hairdryer I have ever had!
