I currently have 1 pair of Primark super soft super skinny jeans that are too big on the waist I'm forever hoicking them up. I want to invest in a decent pair, so understand I need to pay more money.

What jeans do you recommend? I want blue either indigo or stone wash & skinny leg.

I'll look at jeggings too if they have a proper waistband - I've heard good things about M&S jeggings.

I have some deep indigo jeggings from Gap which are fab and so far haven't stretched in the way my other Gap jeans have done. I don't wear them as often as my regular jeans though so that might make a difference

Those RI ones look amazing! They've got paler colours in the sale but I could never pull those off. I've got 3 pairs of the Leigh soft jeans from Topshop too. Dark blue, lighter blue and black. They're really comfy - just got to get back in to them Weep

    I think a 28" would be a 10 & a 30" a 12 .....I have some in a 12 & a 14 - you'd be better going for the 10, they will be tight but they will loosen with wear & washing!

I have a bright blue, black & a grey pair with burgundy turn ups. I love them!

I have a 30 and a 32 in the Topshop ones, I would go for smaller.

No, I have not got those ones, but I saw them in the shop

I like the Topshop Baxter rather than the Leigh so try those too. I have about 5 pairs in non pregnancy size!

I like the look of the baxter Hep but as I'm not a jeans person I'm wondering if they are too jean like. The Leigh look softer so I may not be digging those out my crotch as much Laugh

I'm a size 10 waist but have size 12 hips. You think the 28s?

Oasis - they do really nice jeggings that look like jeans and have a proper waist band. They had £10 off when I had a quick perusal on Friday. Think they are called Jade or something. They suit curves so you'd probably be good in a 10 as they cater for hips!

Thanks Robin I will have a look at those too. This is eaxctly what I was after, names of jeans rather than just Topshop or Mango.

So Leigh & Baxter in Topshop, Molly & Amelie in RI and Jade in Oasis.

The Baxter are like true jeans whereas the Leugh are more stretchy. I guess it depends what you're comfy in. I like stiff skinnies so they don't 'fit' around knees / calf etc, and more go straight down in a straight line into a skinny ankle.

Try on and see what you think.

I have a selection of sizes as find the blue denim fits slightly differently to the black (black more stretch) so I think it depends on colour etc. Your best bet is te massive Topshop near your work at Oxford Circus!

Another vote for Topshop Leigh Jeans. Topshop Jamie are also a good choice - they are similar to the Leigh just slightly shorter which works for me when I want to wear pumps etc. I didn't get on with Baxter at all. Bonus with Leigh and Jamie are that they usually come up quite big so (pre-pregnancy days) I tend to go a size smaller which makes me happy!
