My h, L and I need total sun block. I use piz buin, what do u use for ur kids. I use factor 30 for me ([blush] up until I was about 26 I used to use factor 10 for 3 days then oil!!!!!) so I start on the 50 then 30 and I like piz buin but just wondering if those P20 one are any good, do you have to reapply or is it really a once only application? I'm thinking of for the children

I use Nivea factor 50 for the kids.
I tried the P20 one and thought it was crap. My mam tried it for my brother and he burnt with it and he tans well so I wouldn't use it for the kids.

I can't recommend Sudocrem SunMousse highly enough. It is the best suncream I've ever used on L. He has sensitive skin and suffers with heat rash, prickly heat, etc. This stuff doesn't bring him out in any weird rash at all. It's factor 50 so total block but really easy to spread and apply. You get loads out of a bottle. Nina and I have stocked up for Spain already.
AFM I like the Soltan Invisible stuff. I got a lovely colour with that last year. I can't use oil as I get prickly heat but H just slaters his factor 2 Calypso oil on and is good to go. SOD!
ETA My mum used P20 on my brother and he suffered severe burns. I tried with the girls and they burnt.

God belle I used to be like that. My and my gbf would literally fry ourselves, he's still the same but I had a mole that grew in size but it was fine but it scared the living sh1t out me! So I'm really good now, apart from Sunday when I put suncream on the kids but not me as I forgot....and burnt to a crisp!

Another vote for sudocrem mousse and it's £7.49 on amazon just now

We just used the Boots Soltan one on the kids, factor 50. It's water resistant up to 3 hours i think, and you don't need to re-apply for about 6 hours during the day. We used to put it on the kids in the morning before we went out, and as we weren't in the water, we didn't need to top them up during the day. They didn't burn at all. It rubs in quite easily too

We have boots kid/baby at the moment for disco, but looking at the sudocream one to try as well. I use boots own brand for myself as have a tendcy to dry skin but find this cream works well and doesn't give me any issues.

I've always used boots or solan stuff but that's just for me, no idea what's best for kids. I burn quite easily though so I do use high factor& they have both been fine.

We've got the Ambre Solaire factor 50 sensitive one for the kids on holiday, not tried it yet though I imagine that, Nivea Soltan etc are all quite similar??

I use Nivea kids factor 50 on myself and my kids. H uses it too, as he only has to look at the sun, and he burns.
My Mum uses P20 on C when she takes him away, he has never burnt.

Boots Once - factor 50 spray for H and Zoe and the Factor 25 (I think it is) aerosol spray for me. I hate the feel of suntan lotion and the aerosol is so light it's great, I can easily just put it on at the start of the day and not need to reapply. H burns very easily so reapplies the factor 50 at lunch time for both him and Zoe.

We use the Boots factor 50 8 hour suncream for the kids as they can't take suncream to school. Jack is very fair skinned (red hair, blue eyes!) and burns easily, but one morning application of this stuff and he's fine all day. I love it, as I hate reapplying suncream, so once in the morning and we're done for the day!

I used the boots once stuff last year and it was great although I did apply it again after being in the water. I'm going to get more when I go back. This year I have an aerosol spray one for the kids as I have limited time to get it all on with N as he hates it but he seems to like the unpredictable excitement of when and where the spray is going to hit! I think it's ambre Solaire, a white can. I then get 20 and 30 for H and I as I burn just by looking at the sun.

We always use P20 and have never burnt. We put it on the kids when we were in Mauritius and Turkey (45degrees!) and there was no burning whatsoever.
However I dont know about how good it is on babies? My step kids are 13 and 10 so a bit older.
I use it too and its the only thing that doesnt irritate my prickly heat.

I used p20 one holiday and came out in a massive rash so never again! Also remember to reapply to your bum and thighs as sitting on towels rubs it off (as I discovered when my bum was roasting burnt!). I use piz buin once but I usually use a 15 the whole holiday

we use ultrasun once a day My son has very fair skin and ginger hair and the 50+ works for him
