It's world book day next week (or the week after) at nursery and L's room have chosen "Room on the Broom"
My boy isn't the most adventurous when it comes to dressing up, he freaked at a cape on his Super George pjs However he keeps telling me he wants to be the dragon in ROTB. How on earth can I make a dragon costume? I'm trying to persuade him to be the cat or the dog so I can dress him in one colour and buy a face mask
Suggestions on costumes welcome!

Red joggers, long sleeve red top and as nina says make the spine thing and tail from cardboard and pin it on. Have you googled any images?

Oh god I am so not making anything. You know how rubbish I am at craft and how much he hates dressing up!

OK then find a red hat that he can wear and red clothes. Then write 'roar' on a piece of cardboard and he can hold that up.
My friend resorted to shameless bribery at Halloween when her son refused to wear the costume she'd lovingly made for him. 'Put it on for 2 minutes and you can have some cake'. Not one of her finest moments

Louie's costume at Halloween was black leggings (yes gfirls leggings!) and a black long sleeve top. He even borrowed one of Molly's witches hats as he wanted to be a witch not a wizard
