For my carpets!
we're decorating all through so I want to spruce my carpets up. They are cream and were only laid two years ago so aren't marked.
I need to do my lounge and bedroom so thinking of hiring a rug doctor?

YES! they are amazing i love them! i am gutted i have solid wood floor now rather than carpet. you will be disgusted at how much dirt is in your carpet. you'll do one strip & be horrified.
when you go to hirt them you need proof of ID and a household bill. i usually get mine from bnq but i now you can get them from other places

We have a Bissel which is like having your own home rug doctor. Like twink said though you will be horroified at how much dirt comes up. I went over one carpet five times and it was still coming up with dirt and at that point I stopped because I could have carried on forever I think! Although that was the room the dog had lived in so did have the potential to be horrendous!

They are great. I find the colour of the water strangely satisfying!

We also have a Bissel and is fab. I did a small patch on the rug yesterday, it was filthy. They dry so quickly too.
Ps do you have a date for your sofa to come. We are also decorating ready for ours arriving.

Are the rug doctors better than the vax carpet cleaners? We have one which I'm not rating at the moment

My Mum hired one when she had carpet, she felt disgusted at the dirt that came out. She went over it 3 or 4 times, and it was still getting dirt out.
I have a Vax carpet cleaner, it's not too bad, but I am thinking of hiring a better cleaner to go over my living room carpet. H spilt his coffee, and didn't make an attempt at cleaning it up, the tramp. My Vax might struggle with it.

Can you do the stairs with them? I'm so tempted! H wants to get a new carpet for the hallway and stairs but I think we should give it a go before we fork out.

im my opinion yes they are better for a deep clean than a Vax.
McSquirtle yes you can you get an extension for doing stairs and upholstry
