We are doing a joint venture with the junior school and they already have some brilliant ideas and attractions, so I need to get my creative thinking cap on, but I am so not creative!
Its based loosely on a circus theme but I also need traditional ideas!

One thing that apprently went down well at ours (and brought in the most money) was an international foods stall. Basically parents from different cultures/parts of the world made all sorts of goodies. It apparently also ticked an ofsted box that said we had to embrace cultural diversity better (despite it being a catholic school) .
Ours was based on a sports theme last year due to the olympics but also included dance displays, gymnastics displays etc.
I didn't go so not sure what stalls there were

At C's school, they have 3 different tombolas. An adults one, with wine, beer etc, a sweets/chocolate one, and a toy and toiletry one. They have a book stall, toy stall, cake stall, a BBQ/general refreshment part, a clown making balloon animals etc, a pocket money stall (things like bracelets, foam glider planes), face painting, bouncy castle, coconut shy, nail painting, transfer tattoos.

Our best money makers are always the bouncy castle and selling those really big balloons that have an elastic band on the end.
We also do hampers where each class is told a theme, everyone has to send someone in and each class has a big box and then you have 14 great hampers for a raffle. I would love to win one, one day hopefully!
Other games I remember include the bottle game - pick a wrapped bottle, one of the 12 is a bottle of wine/spirits and the other 9 are wooden 'duds'; the usual kids ones - pick a stick, smack the rat, catch a duck in the paddling pool etc etc.
