O has really really waxy ears, they've been like that for over a month- when you look in them they're just chocka with wax and always mucky round the outside. I'm wondering if I should get the docs just to have a look for me incase there's something underlying? Or does it seem daft to go to the docs about waxy ears?!

Yes, I would. Thats what Liam's were like and he has conjestion causing mild hearing loss and is at speech therapy. He is getting grommets fitted soon. Please don't let them fob you off ike they did with me.

Children's ears are full of wax. Is he in pain or is the wax running out? Does he have a high temp?

I think it's worth going to get it on record in case he might need grommets in the future.

LIams wax runs out over his face. He has never really had a temp with it. THey said there was nothing wrong, and there was. I am not saying that O will be the same, but ML, I would urge you to get them checked out lovey. Even if it is just to go on record. I took L about 4 times before nursery referred him to speech therapy cos he wasn't saying the words he should be as well as he should and he has now failed 2 hearing tests on certain sounds, his Consultant is 100% what is causing the problem.
