How many sets do 'normal' people have? As I am preparing for the move I am getting rid of as much excess stuff as possible. With bedding we had to have so many because of B wetting the bed - enough for three changes a night for three nights in a row - because that was how many changes we could get through and needed time for them to dry. My instinct is for three sets - one on the bed, one in the drawer and one in the wash. But what do you have?
(B doesn't wet the bed as often anymore - he has wet the bed the last three nights in a row, but it was only one change a night)

We have about 5 spare sets for our bed
The baby already has 2 sets for the cot
We have a single duvet and 2 changes of bedding even though we have no single bed
And we have a double duvet with 3 sets of bedding and again no double bed either.
Iv just vacum bagged it all away

C has about 9 different sets. No real reason, just that he wanted a Ben 10, Star Wars, Lego etc set, and I never got rid. J now shares these. He has 1 set of his own, so far.
We have about 7 sets. If I see something I like, I get it.

We have two sets for our bed, two for the crib and two each for M and stepsons beds. Plus a double duvet and set as one of yhe living room sofas is a sofa bed. I couldn't be bothered finding storage for more than that!

I dread to think!!! I would say go with three but I should practice what I preach because my airing cupboard needs a really good sort out, I have loads of childrens bed sets in there where the girls go through different phases

We've got two sets for ours (we swapped to a king size duvet the other year to stop my H hogging it all and bought new sets then). We have more sheets and pillow cases as well. I still have the old duvets in the loft and the old duvet covers so could - if necessary get these out.
My daughter has three sets for hers. There has been an occasional late night panic and we've had to improvise with old blankets if she's managed to be sick over everything more than once but that has only happened once or twice. I think, now she's nearly 7 she can be relied on to try and get out of the bed if she's going to be sick.
We had a good clear out last year because we had to take everything out of our aircupboard.

Blimey so I wasn't that unusual with lots of sets for B. Maybe I'll go for three sets although now it feels conservative by seeing how many sets others have

I think three sounds reasonable, that's how many we have for E's bed.
I really need to sort out my spare bedding though as I seem to have lots of double sheets and no double bed, lots of random pillowcases which never get used and lots of random duvet covers which never get used!!
