If your're having highlights or the like done, what does the hairdresser do whilst you are just waiting on the timelimit for the dye? Also, how long do you normally leave it on for - never dyed my hair before!)
I had a leaflet through the door about a new mobile hairdresser which offers half price highlights and cut and blow dry for first appt. I've been looking for a mobile one so interested but now thinking about someone I don't know in my house for a few hours as when I go to the hairdressers I'd rather not talk!

I get on really well with my hairdresser so once the colours done i normally make a cuppa and we just have a chat!
Depending on the colour it's normall a 20-30 mins processing time.
I don't like talking whilst at a hairdressers but I think at home you feel more comfortable and it's your environment so you don't mind chatting!
Give it a go! If its half price first time and you don't like it then you don't have to do it again.

I'm a mobile hairdresser, although I only do a few clients now and to be honest my clients have become good friends so whilst colour is taking, we stop and have a cuppa. On some occasions of there is another person to cut then il do that in the time the colour is developing. It only takes around half hour

I hate small talk with strangers. Bah humbug! Although for a cheap hair doo I would manage it

Thanks everyone. 30 minutes isn't as long as I'd thought it would be so I may be able to cope with that. Like you missus S, I hate small talk.
Think I'll give her a ring tomorrow and give it a go. Now to decide on a new do...

My mum used to get a perm when the mobile hair dresser came, it was her friend anyway so my mum would go first but then she would do everyone else's and then go back to my mums iyswim
