I like it, will you wear a fascinator or hat? What colour shoes, black? Darren is going with work tomo, I'm jealous!

It's navy and ivory. I hadn't even thought about shoes....OMG i've got nothing. argh
19/06/2013 at 15:28
I think that would be fine with a hat/fascinator and killer heels

Oh I have nude shoes, forgot those. I need to tan oMG this is stressing me out.

Where are you going to be? Don't forget about the dress code! www.ascot.co.uk/the-dress-code

Just above Royal Enclosure. This fits with dress code hence me asking about it. It's a boring old work dress that I'm hoping to fancy up. Is it nice enough or not?

Omg I'm loving the rules! I've never seen them before , I wonder if Scottish men can wear a kilt then as that's national dress??
I went to Chester races a few years ago, sadly I found the bar and didn't see a horse

I've been tons of times, but usually have months to prepare and plan. Not a day *sob*

I like it Belle, looks like it'll be easy to fancy up and monochrome is the look of the moment.
I love looking at photos of outfits from Ascot http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2344397/Day-Royal-Ascot-headgear-bigger-brash-Queen-wearing-multicoloured-style.html
and everyone looks lush in their expensive gear. I'm getting the right *** about this. I'm not gonna go it's stressng me out

Belle I find it hard to believe you have nothing to wear You're always eyeing up fab clothes.
I think the dress will look good.

Belle it's lovely, I really like it and just right for ascot. I think because it's your 'boring old work dress' it taints your view. Fake tan tonight and/or tomorrow, find a bit head gear and get your ass down there.

You have to go, it's Ascot plus you'd rock a potato sack.
I wouldn't have said any of those outfits looked particularly lush or expensive, except maybe the Queen's. The photo of the group of women underneath the Tootsie Rollers, they look like they've all walked out of M&S or Evans, the dress on the woman on the very left is just like something I got for £8 in the sale at Asda, and it's a really nice dress!

Yeah I hadn't clicked the link, they all look terrible IMO so I do feel better. I just uslly plan outfits so far in advance. I'm thinking with a fascinator my friend is lending the navy will work with nude shoes.....I hope!
I also have a green dress which is boring but knee length or actually I have a black and white dress I wear for work but someone said it could be worn to a wedding....think I've shown a picture of it on here before asking if sexy enough for a night out....

Nude shoes would be perfect. You will look stunning, go enjoy!
19/06/2013 at 16:49
Thank you. I'm relying on the fascinators to make it. will take some pics tonight
