Are you doing it? Is this the one for the Easter holidays? I am hoping it is goign to be more straight forward than last time!

Yes we are going to do it, last year we went to Hopton on Sea in Norfolk, this year we are going to try for Dorset for the last May b/h and hopefully the weather will be good. We had a great time last year and the girls loved it.

Hello - are you a regular that is hiding under that title or are you genuinely a new user? If so welcome
I went to Filey and was disappointed in the swimmign pool which might sound silly but that is a big part for us

I am normally mrs mm (I don't really post much) but I have forgotten my login details and logged in via fb which has put me as a new user!
The pool at hopton on sea was quite small but had a slide and the girls enjoyed it. We spent most of the time during the day out and about so didn't really use much of the facilities (just the pool)
I think they are really good value for a long weekend

Just changed to my fav cake!

My kids and I would happily spend ALL our time in the pool The only complication for us is my son's dietary requirements - makes eating anywhere difficult.

Yes the food wasn't up to much at the park!

We liked the pools at Primrose Valley, is that where you were QI? I'm sure that was Filey

Blue Dolphin I think. There were others nearby. The pool was fairly rubbish I thought

Primrose Valley had two pools I think, one had a water slide and a sort of rope bridge thing that stepson loved, M was a bit young though. We didn't go to the other pool actually, went a few day trips and ran out of time.
Pool at lake district center parcs is brilliant, spent hours in there

I swear it's just us but we end up spending a fortune on a cheap weekend away!
05/01/2014 at 17:59
It really isn't just you Belle! I ended up spending a fortune as well, although part of that was due to crashing my car!
05/01/2014 at 18:09
We spent a fortune as well so yes that part of it isn't cheap but we don't do any cooking in the caravan except for tea and toast! So if you ate your lunch and dinner out at home and spent the day out it would cost a lot (that is how we rationalise it anyway!)
