I have 2 'secret' tattoos. Not very secret though, lol. My gran and I were born year of the dragon and I got a little pocket dragon on my hip and he's just a baby, he's breathing smoke not fire, he's still learning his dragon trade ;)

I have Chinese lettering on my bum that translates to a nickname my ex had for me and it was a bit of fun. I don't even notice them now. I won't get any more but my friends have some beautiful ones, one friend has a lovely quote, with a beautiful border and flowers, down one side from just under armpit to under her hip. But she's gorgeous, not in a brassy way, and it fits her so well. I could fit War and Peace on the same space in my body!!!

Thinking about it the only tattoo I would consider now is a small wedding band so if I didn't wear my rings for any reason (plus I take them off at night) I would have a nice design there instead.

My mum has tattoos and I hate them on her, partly because they're boring designs (to me) and partly because she stresses about covering them up if there's anything she has to go to, which sort of defeats the purpose of having them...?

What sort of quote are you after, CC? Where are you thinking of? x

Oh lovely lol!... I don't think I am good for one down my side the words would get lost in my rolls hahaha!

The quote is : There are so many people out there who will tell you that you can't. What you've got to do is turn around and say "watch me."

Basically goes back too when I had me accident and a few medical people told me that I may not be able to walk again.. and a physio told me I wasn't putting in enough effort in with my physio and I wont be able to use my hand... And I can do both!

Sounds great for you CC, I think you should do it! Great reminder of overcoming adversity :) Where might you have it?

After some depressions and a violent relationship and a period of disability I wholeheartedly believe 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' but I'm not brave enough to have it tattooed ha ha!! Might get a wall stencil instead.

I love tattoos but only have one so far on my right ankle - a Hawaiian flower with 'Ohana' written above it which is our family motto and personal to us. My next one is going to be a Russian Doll (I've collected them since childhood and have over 50) with a banner with E's name and date of birth. Then when I have more children I will add  smaller dolls to the design for each one iyswim? I'm saving up though as it's a big design. I love tatto art.

I love tattoos, and have a few.

I am getting "life goes on", on my arm. It has become my memorial arm, with tattoos for my step dad, grand parents, and my angel baby. It is like a vine, with a heart representing each person. For my angel, i have the date Of my loss, but not in numbers. It's a heart (baby), and the date is 2.11.09, represented as 2 leaves, 11 swirls, and 9 pods on the vine.

I have a heart on a cross on my back, which I got at 16, with C's name under it. I also have a pair of eyes on the back of my neck, and a half sleeve filled with things i like. There's hello kitty (obvs), cupcakes, sweets, diamonds, jack skelington, and there's a moon which is for my step dad, as when he died, C who was 2 at the time, said that "grandad is in the moon", so I had it incorporated into the design.

I have loads planned, but need to get my current one finished first.

Will add pics when i am on my laptop.

I have the most a-typical tattoo. A dolphin on my shoulder. I actually forget it's there, if I had my time again I'd get something much more unique and arty.

There are some amazing tattooists out there now, I wonder if they can cover flipper up for me.

I too have a dolphin Sshh - lower tummy / hip. Got it when I was 13. I also have a larger tattoo on my lower back - two dolphins diving into water and the splashes go up my back a little. Had that when I was 16. Neither of them bother or offend me but I'm very lucky I can cover them and forget they are there.

I've got 4 and I'm currently saving up for my next one.

I've got one on my wrist which is butterflies and stars, one on my lower back which is a pattern - cant really describe it but I love it, Chinese writing on my hip/tummy which I don't love so much and I have half of the chorus of our first dance from our wedding across my ribs.

I'm getting 2 swallows to represent my two losses. Swallows symbolise a long, hard journey and also love and loyalty so I think they fit in well.

I'm trying to insert a picture of two of mine but its not working :(

I have three so far, I have a butterfly on my neck which was my very first, then I have the meaning of my name on my lower back written in Latin which means worthy of love. Then my favourite is one which is written down my ribcage in Latin which says a new beginning

My next one I will get is the quote in which my username comes from, never lose hope which I will get written somewhere on my body as this has a lot of meaning to me and my life

    I have a few.

I have one on the top of my arm I had done at 18 which I'm in the middle of having removed as I've never really liked it (I had to stop whilst pregnant).

I have one on the bottom of my back which I had done at 21 after having to have repeat lumbar punctures. I told them I was going to get an X to mark the spot so they could find it after bodging one of them. It isn't an X though more a scrolly pattern.

I have one on my foot on my 1st holiday with my OH (the photo)

My most recent is a swirly type pattern with three coloured butterflies on the right hand side of my stomach which represents the three babies I've lost.

Once 'noods' is born I'd like to get something for her down my left side with her name and DOB
