How much do you usually spend on a present for your childs teacher and what are you getting?
J has his teacher and TA and E has just her teacher.
J's teacher is about 50ish, TA is probably late 40's - is a box of chocs tight?
E's teacher is only about 25 at the most. A bottle of wine and chocs is that tight?

I usually make them cupcakes.
Last year, C had a young teacher, so I made her a necklace.
Box of chocs, and wine isn't tight.

I agree with AK, wine and chocs isn't tight at all.
I was just going to get a nice box of biscuits for E's playgroup teachers, there's about 7 of them, I don't really know them as I don't do the drop-offs pick ups.

I;m going to see what I have left over from my little gift company thats christmassy and give them something from there - maybe a candle or mug. Not going mad!
well i need to buy for the 2 teachers and 2 TAs and the 2 women at breakfast and after school club and the dinner lady! so i dont care if its tight, they get those little bottles of wine (think you get one glass out of them) and those miniture boxes of chocolates in a little bag, they get the same at the end of the school year but his own teacher and TA get a little extra, last year the teacher got some smellies and the TA got an academic diary as she is now doing a uni course at night,
this year theres also the football coach thatl need something so he will get the same but beer instead of wine.
then there is the CM too, although she gets an actual bottle of wine, chocolates and something else
