I want to add something to mine this year but not sure what.
We have the tree in the corner, a garland with lights over the fireplace, a wooden advent calendar on the fire place and a reindeer brought all the way from Lapland at the other side of the fireplace.
What do you have?

We have our tree in the corner, mantle swag with twinkly lights, candle holder that spells 'Sparkle' on fire, wooden nativity set and various ceramic characters dotted around that I've gathered over the years (Santa, reindeer, snowmen). Snowflake lights around large mirror, fabric advent calendar thingy with pockets on back of door and bauble wreath for front door. We're in two up two down so not much room to dress hence living room looks like xmas threw up everywhere, but I love it!
Also put lights up on front of house, around front windows and on trees in back garden.

We have outdoor lights across the front of the house. Christmas tree in living room, garland with lights across the fireplace. Some lovely santas that sit on the fire place, candles. I also want to get some more bits too

We have a tree with lights and a variety of decorations, I try to buy a Christmas dec from each place we go on holiday. Then we have a small wooden nativity scene and a wreath for the door. I'd go far more OTT but we spend Christmas with family not at home so it seems a bit unnecessary. We need a new tree this year as I threw out the old one last year as it was looking a bit worse for wear. I want a coloured one but H had vetoed it, so green it wil be.

We only decorate the lounge, we don't have a dining room though. Tree in lounge in front of the window, sparkly christmas tree shaped card holder, some little ornaments, christmas candles. Oh, and I'll put a little tree in the centre of the kitchen table . We have a merry christmas sign for the front door. My mum will put the Santa Stop here sign up as that's where we'll be!

I found this on pinterest in late November and knew this would be my DIY christmas decoration for the year.
So simple yet it adds the perfect touch to our living room. I have mine laying on our mantle with our stocking hung under it (looks so cute). I only used about 100..probably even less, but it was still plenty. I used a mix of shiny, matte, and sparkly ornaments. And again, it's seriously so SO simple. I'm in love with it!
