Well Christmas is over, and at last the big fella returns to work in the morning
Not that it hasn't been good to spend some time with him,but over a week is beyond a joke!!!! Normality resumes in the morning and I can't wait
Be sad Tues when Tom returns to playgroup!!!!!! Hope everyone is looking forward to normality x

No,I want to travel back two weeks.Serious post Christmas blues.Don't want it to be over.We tidied up the decs this morning, put Christmas tunes on,ate Christmas food and we're making it last till tomorrow, kids are back to school Tuesday. It's all over,it took ages coming, there's so much to get ready,it was over so fast.
Abit of me wants it all over and tidy ,and I'm doing that Tuesday, once the kids are at school,I've already warned them. The following day's Arthur's birthday,so we get that to look forward to.I do need it to be tidy again though.
Darren doesn't go back till the 11th,so another week, which will ease us into the school routine a bit easier, but once he does he's working 2-10pm,so I've no idea what normal's going to be.

i wish mine had a job to go back to, hes been loitering around since october now, had a few days on sites here and there but nothing more than that. Occasionally hes doing my head in, but mainly i just want some spare cash, luckily savings have us coping with bills but not a spare penny litterally! Thank god my lovely mum and grandma treat us.
i shouldnt complain really as when he goes back to work i kiss goodbye to a lay in every other day and my chauffeur.
And i had the icandy/p&t swap that satisfied my shopping bug nicely!
ANYWAY ladies thats my mini moan over,
Hope you had a lovely christmas, we did, it was really nice.
We are now in the process of getting the house organised and packing, today the tree went, i couldnt keep hoovering 6 times a day and we NEEDED the space soooo badly!
Today we sorted the toys, ive booked a table at a local bumps and baby sale and i managed to get 6 removals boxes full of toys they are too big for or have 2 of then theres baby chairs/swings/bumbos/bags/slings etc that are going so i should have a nice little amount for some bits for the new house!
The toy sorting didnt end there we packed a further 9 boxes of stuff thats too grown up or they can survive 5 weeks without, and we still have the basket unit, two wooden chests and the huge trundle box, and then theres all the 'big' stuff that doesnt go away ever! im really ashamed they are sooo spoilt!
anyway i should really be off to bed!
take care, and ill be under a pile of boxes and packing tape!

hey girlies well normality hit me square in the face today with a huge slap as had to drop john off at camp and say goodbye for 8 months, so was a blubbering wreck this morning...so attractive not...anyways me and charlie are slowly getting back in the routine of normality, the tree came down along with the decs at the weekend and now i have the great task of re-arranging things so all little mans new toys can fit in somewhere!!
we had a fab christmas despite not seeing frankie, charlie went to his first panto and loved it and we were at the in-laws over christmas which meant i didn't have to cook etc...so got to spend some quality time with my to gorgeous fellas and relax which was nice.

Maybe it's just me who wanted him out
I'm sure something will turn up for Andrew soon Laura,I shouldn't be so flippant,Ian is lucky to have a job,the company he works for is a bit uncertain to say the least.
Jo,I'm sure you'll get in aroutine soon enough that fits in with all the family-2-10 means help with school run tho eh? I find with Ian here,it takes me longer to get out of the house
Aw bless ya zoe, hope the time passes quickly for you and charlie x
05/01/2010 at 23:16
oh i want him out!!!
it takes a MINIMUM of DOUBLE the time to get anywhere, and he drives!!! FFS!!!
bless him hes lovely really but if he puts there coats hats etc upstairs once more i think ill kill him!

Normality can knock on my door but it's not coming in.It's still Christmas, the decs are still up,I know of at least four new toys in packaging still, the Christmas cd is still in the stereo, loads of Christmas munchies left, and if we get that promised snow we can pretend it's the holidays and knock up another batch of mince pies.Bottle of wine somewhere....
It ain't over till the fat lady sings, and this fat lady just ain't feeling songful tonight.
06/01/2010 at 22:07
You keep it then girl!!!
Yes Lau things like that are exactly what I'm talking about,Ian has no idea of the concept routine. He is the most horizontal person I know, and while that can be fairly refreshing in certain circumstances, with 2 under 3's to get ready, have lunch etc.....it is far from refreshing.
The language I've used lately is choice to say the least(not in front of lads I hasten to add!!!) He has no idea where anything goes,is stored, etc, and to cap it all it is really my fault for doing fecking everything for him Cos of snow he was in again today-sent him shopping in the end before I scooped his eyeballs from their sockets with buzz lightyears plastic fingers-big mistake-should have known he'd get over half the things wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even Tom pointed out 2 mistakes to him!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it me or does a jar of pasta sauce written on alist look a pot noodle???? Why pray tell did he buy pot fecking noodle????? Had to hide by the shed and chain smoke,or I could have been facing 15yrs in Holloway. Rant over,I'm walking to farmfoods in the morning.
06/01/2010 at 22:54
sorry but LOL! a pot noodle, oh bless him!
Maybe send tom with him and say toms in charge? its a good job our boys listen hey!
Andrews good at the food shop but hes always tempted by 'bargains' which we dont need so they arent a bargain!!!!!
when he pisses me off to much i find a reason for him to go out! ie, we need milk, oh loads of boxes go to the recycle bank and so on!
we swear at each other to much, jack said prat the other day, i should be gratefull it was just that and nothing worse!
Ah men, cant live with them, would like to think i can live without them.
we still have all decs up apart from the tree, pure lazieness here keeping them up!
06/01/2010 at 22:59
Ah,they pretend to know no better.See if they get it wrong you won't ask them again. They "help" but whether it's shopping ,laundry, washing up,or just tidying up you do the job twice clearing up after them.Since DH has been off for Christmas he's broken three of my favourite bowls cos they go at the front of the cupboard because I like them LOTS and use them LOTS.Big plates we use maybe once a year at the back, sense to me,but he pulls one out the back of the cupboard, breaks three bowls. Two days ago puts a wooden ,do not immerse in water, salad bowl and servers in the bottom rack of the dishwasher, kind of like putting your delicates in a boil washAside from generally rearranging, losing, hoovering up as many toys, clothes, kitchen things as is manly possible.
However a babysitter on hand for a few more days is priceless, and the company's quite nice too..
06/01/2010 at 23:04
o dear jo!
roo broke my breakfast bowl, i havent ate cereal in two months because i just cant in the normal bowls!
i agree though as blooming irritating as they are the positives out weigh it, i have babysitter, company and the car side aswell, that im vvvvv greatfull of with all the snow!
06/01/2010 at 23:13
Nah,company I get from lil men, help, well I don't get it-basically what he's here for could be done in half hour after kids go to bed!!!!!!!!
But your'e right Jo,they do it on purpose I'm sure. If I did something so stupid with something he could do on autopilot he'd take the piss for ages
I'm being bit mean to be fair, couldn't live without him, wouldn't have anyone to moan about Given up nagging well never bothered in first place, waste of time!
06/01/2010 at 23:17
I don't do nagging,I just get on with it myself.Guess I'm just glad he's unstuck himself from the sofa.
07/01/2010 at 00:34
well i think i might be kissing goodbye to mr helpfull when we move.
A, he will have to show off in front of my bils
B. his lovely mums leaving her ps3 behind!
07/01/2010 at 21:44
Oh dear Lau,that you could do without!
Nah no point nagging,I'm very much from the school of do it yourself-still P's me off tho!!!!
He redeemed himself last nite so no moaning tonight!
07/01/2010 at 23:49

08/01/2010 at 20:42
