A couple of things:
Do you send them?
Anyone have them printed and buy onlnie? I was thinking of using a florida photo of the pair of them and getting Lauren to write them )

must write ours. I usually just hand write a notecard but have used vista print for special thank yous eg when Luke came home and for his big 2nd birthday. I did postcard size, image on one side and general printed note on reverese with space for extra handwritten personals.

We got some from Vistaprint for the wedding... they didn't have a photo as I wanted to be able to write them as soon as possible (had a dissertation deadline after that) so we were able to use them after the wedding too for other thank-yous. We got 100 of the 'free' postcards so they've lasted a while, although we're coming to the end of them now! I think I'll get some printed once the baby's born and add his name, then we can use them as baby gift thank-yous or as general ones. Again I'll probably use Vistaprint for cheapness.

I use the free postcards and note cards off vista print.

I have all the intetions in the world to do thank you notes then it gets too late and I feel silly for posting them out.
The Florida picture sounds lovely.

I'm the same as Belle, I always think I must do them then it gets to late so don't bother. Think I'll do some this weekend when we do E's sleepover invites.

I hate them. Sometimes I dont see the point. My sil wrote some from my nephew and I find it a bit pointless tbh.

I always send them bit only since with h. When we were little we used today thank you in person or ring to say thank you if we didn't see them. My mil likes them and it's a big thing in h's family. I will probably use vistaprint and put a picture of the children from Christmas on x

I don't usually, did for engagement, wedding, new baby gifts but general birthday not. Having said that, after her 1st birthday I did take a photo of her playing with said item and then added text (to X, thank you for the X, Love Little Miss) and emailed them. Figured it'd be nice for the person to see her playing with the item. Not got round to doing if for Christmas yet

We send them from C, we haven't quite finished writing them all from Christmas yet. We've used Snapfish for the most recent ones using a pic of him dressed as a snowman, although the "cards" don't seem any different to photos, just quite a bit more expensive so I'll try and remember not to use them next year!
