Week days it is usually difficult to get them out of bed on a morning. But on a Saturday they get up very early, this mornign it was 5am.
This morning I have had an epihany(sp).
On a Friday they see their father who gives them tea. They always complain they are hungry when they get back and usually say he hasn't feed them tea. Even if he has. Well they may well be hungry and hence they wake up so early on the Saturday.
So from now on I think I will have a second tea ready for them on a Friday and hopefully they will stay in bed longer on a Saturday - what do you think?

You can try. I swear they just know though. Both of mine were awake at 5:20 this morning. N goes through phases of waking at 6 for a couple of weeks then 6:30 then 7ish and then back round to 6 again.

Mine are the same, drag them out of bed to be ready for school/nursery in the week, up by 6 on a weekend guaranteed! I wonder what will happen on bank holiday Monday, will that fool them into a lie in??!!
Worth a try!

Happens here too at the weekend, and I don't think it's hunger, but worth a try giving them something to eat x

It happens here as well. J has to be practically dragged out of bed at 8am for nursery but this morning it was 6.30!!!
