    but who cares?

I'm so proud of my J and wanted to tell you guys.  Within the last 3 days he has mastered riding his bike with no stabilisers.  He was only 4 last month - he is brilliant at it and he is so chuffed with himself Big Smile

Snap! As opposed to telling us that your four year old can ride his bike without stabilisers which is hardly baby talk is it?ROTFL

I know he isn't mine but I am proud as punch of J for doing thatBig Smile How did you get him to do it or has he just got there by himself? B learnt to ride his bike at school I had no idea what to do!

QI I suppose not but didn't know if people would think that I should post it over on BT but you lot are my mates so I'll stick to here.  He got his bike for his 3rd birthday and instinctively knew how to ride it but the other day he asked for the stabilisers off and since he could put his feet on the ground we did and have just held him and run after him and its just clicked.

MossyE E was 6 before she could do it but she didn't really want to do it and was scared as well which made it harder and took weeks for her to learn, J has no fear which makes it easier.

Thats really good SW. My daughter is 6 and hasn't mastered it although she won't put the practise in without the stabilisers on. I'm slightly impatient but H never mastered it so it could be OK or impossible for her!

Well done J. Bet he was so chuffed with himself.

C can't ride a bike. In his words "Mum, I have as much interest in riding a bike, as you do in drinking tea instead of wine" erm...

I am hoping my J is less cheeky, and more keen to learn to ride a bike.

Ha ha, I know a couple of older kids who can't ride a bike, I thought every kid loved bikes.

I thought all kids loved bikes too.

I bought C a Simpsons Chopper bike, but NO, he had no interest in learning to ride a bike.

Bought him a Ben 10 one, NO. Bought him a BMX, NO.

So I gave up. My Mum has a shed full of C's bikes, that have never been used. Glad I kept them though, as they will come in for J.

    That's brilliant, well done J!

C keeps asking for his stabilisers to be taken off, but I'm a bit nervous about doing it.
