What are you having and how are you cooking it? We aren't fans of turkey and had pheasant last year, had considered gammon but just found out we are having it on Christmas Eve at a friends.
I love lamb and am considering this but Am nervous of trying out a new recipe on the actual day I case I ruin it!i know I'm leaving it way too late but looking for inspiration!

We are having duck, with a clementine and cranberry sauce (I think! The sauce was in the asda magazine so hopefully going to try it).
We aren't fans of turkey either tbh
Ooo lamb studded with garlic and anchovies would be lovely

Another duck here only with apple sauce and braised cabbage. The cabbage can help cut through the fat.

My Dad says every year that he's going to do something different one year, like goose, but never does.
I absolutely love lamb, you should do that!

I think it'll be beef or chicken in our house. There's only me and the kids eating meat, the H is veggie so he's having a horrible quorn roast.

We're having a cockerel and H is in charge of cooking it! We're also going to cook a joint of ham for our picky dinner.
