Does it really drag you down or am I jsut being worn down by anythign at the moment?
Both children have pooed themselves today - U because she was adamant that she didn't a poo (she is PTing atm) and then pooed in her pants. B on the other hand was climbign up the stairs and had an accident. So I have two sets of pooey clothes to deal with. B has been referred to a specialist now. In the scheme of things it is nothing but it is just an extra gah IYKWIM?

C has bowel problems, he gets really constipated, as a side effect of Necrotising Enterocolitis.
We have to deal with his swollen tummy, blood when he manages to go, and the pain that comes with being constipated. He's never know any different, but as his Mum, I bl00dy hate seeing him in pain. Once a week or so, C has a major meltdown when he is sick of not being able to go, and I have to spend an hour with him helping him go, and calming him down.
It's not nice, but when That's the only issue we have from his prematurity, then we can live with it.

We have had an argument tonight because after he had pooed himself he wanted to eat more and I said no. I just don't know what exactly is causing it and he just wants to eat and eat and eat and I sometimes wonder whether that causes it? I hate it when he is mortified about pooing himself and I don't have anyone to share it with.

hugs QI. It's frustrating. I am trying to prepare myself that Luke will start school with nappies.

It does drag you down, it's frustrating and irritating even if you know they can't help it. I have been in tears over it in the past

Thank you all so much. When I went into to school about it, they kept interrupting me and trying to fill the answers in. He often come shome from school with stained pants because he hasn't got there in time and I am over worrying because he is only four so there will be others having problems anyway because of their age.

it's more common than people think. If he has been referred hopefully they can get to the bottom of it... no pun intended!

I really hope it can give me a solution and then Ex adhere to it.
