Do they have a better social life than you I feel like I've hardly seen E during half term.
She has been at a play scheme run by the council every day this week then has either been at a friends for tea, had a friend over or been dancing. For the last 2 days when I've been at work its "hi mam, bye mam"
Tomorrow she has a free day, so hopefully we can all do something together in the afternoon, unless one of her friends knocks and gives her a better option, then Sunday she is at dancing 11-12 then singing and drama 2-4pm.
I'm not complaining cos it keeps her busy but I thought it was when they got to teenagers they had a better social life

Oh dear, good job you have been at work or she would of driven you up the wall. E drives me up the wall when she is bored, she ends up tormenting J and lolloping around the house making a pest of herself.

Yep. C goes out more than me, it's quite depressing actually.
Ha Kellfi, J has been pretty busy this week as well.
AK I feel like a glorified taxi driver half the time.

I don't drive, so don't have that trouble.
Luckily, where we live is central to his friends, town etc, so I get plenty of exercise walking him everywhere.

My 5 year old definitely has a better social life than me. But then, to be fair, she doesn't have to arrange a babysitter every time she gets invited to a party!

I love the fact that when E gets invited to birthday parties, its usually a sleepover or if not I can just drop her there and leave her but now its all starting with J getting invited to parties where I have to stay.

I have it all to come with my J.
He got invited to a party last month, and I had to stay.

Lucas is 4 and has a better social life than me. In fact Isaac is 1 and has a better social life than me!

I'm pleased that my daughter is confident enough not to want me to stay at parties now. H and I had a lovely Saturday lunch the other week while she was at a party.

It's great when you can just dump them off isn't it? I'm not looking forward to the next few years of going with J.

There's so much hanging around involved when you have to stay isn't there?
This week my daughter went to a birthday lunch party in a pizza restaurant. H dropped her off, picked her up at the end. Old enough to be left and for us to trust that she can behave herself. See, now she's going out to lunch more often than I am too!

So much hanging around. J went to one the other week on a Saturday when H was at work so I had to take E with me so she was hanging around for 2 hours as well, she wasn't too impressed.
