I had my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for the first time at the end of October and am wondering what is normal before needing them done again? It's been a month and I think I need a return visit. Does this sound about right?

Sounds about right to me. I personally prefer waxing because it seems to keep me hairfree for longer but I only have my eyebrows done so not sure how it compares on other parts of the body

That's good going. I have my brows & top lip waxed every 6 weeks then have an eyebrow thread inbetween at 3 weeks for a tidy up. I'm an eyebrow addict. It's all about the brow.

I have to go every 2 weeks, but my hair is almost black so when I get new growth there's no hiding it. Fortunately the lady I go to only charges £8. I made the mistake of having it done in House of Fraser a few weeks ago and nearly fainted when they charged me TWENTY SEVEN POUNDS.
On the subject of threading, I get very annoyed when someone in front of me has the audacity to get a tint. It takes ages and there should be a separate queue for it.

Sshh the threading lady should be able to do you whilst the tint is setting with the other person. FWIW my beautician takes minutes to tint brows as it's apply then wipe off, whereas my Indian lady who does threading leaves the tint on for about 7minutes.

I hate threading, I never get it right!

Thanks for the replies all, I popped in this morning and had it done - I've been tidying my eyebrows regularly but they needed a proper go this time. Good news is it hurt a lot less than last time! Bargain here too, only £6.50 for both.
Kat, I've got another question for you, but in the interests of keeping the board busy I'll start a separate thread.

I have everything waxed every three weeks at present - eyebrows, top lip, chin, tummy (grim I know) and my bits. I love it when it's first done and would go fortnightly if I could
