How are you getting on this week? Feeling positive? I've had a good few days, I need to be really strict if I want a loss this week, although I don't deserve one after a heavy weekend last weekend but I can still hope.
I'm at work today so no chance to be naughty. I can't get to the gym after work as H is going out tonight.
B - Go ahead bar

D - Chilli and rice.

I have lost 12.5 pounds now.
I had babybel burgers last night and they were gorgeous, really hoping to get my stone off this week so trying harder than normal.
Belle - yesterday's question how do you dry fry an egg? I spray a pan with fry light or wipe it round with oil so the egg doesn't stick, heat up pan and crack egg in as normal then put a lid on the pan or a plate over it. Then the heat stays in and dry frys it. My H has even been converted from proper fried eggs!

belle - do you feel like teenagers being back to living together! i have 2 sisters and although we fal out are both my best friends! I'd love to go back to the days when we all were at home!

AFM - weighed in today as we have friends over tonight for takeaway, friday night friends are over and im cooking a big meal i think, saturday some more friends are over and think i may just get take away as im out all day saturday having a pamper day with my mum and sisters for mums birthday. Sunday is mums birthday and we invited everyone other for bbq (if weather is nice, fingers crossed!) so decided it would be best to weigh today. Lost 1lb this week so am 9.5 now. Which is good as im sure ill put on a couple of lb over the weekend with all the crap! So then I just need to maintain before next weekend when we go on a caravan holiday!

I'm struggling with maintaining I think I'm not in the right mind for it still think i should be losing, Its really strange. Not really sure what i should be doing. Hopefully with the naughtiness this weekend I'll have to lose a couple of pounds anyway so can worry about maintaining after holiday. I dont feel like i know enough about how to do it if that makes sense. PJ xx

PJ I've been maintaining for some months now with the odd gain here, odd loss there. Just allow yourself more carbs, but still make healthy choices. Don't go all out and have deep fried chicken and rice every night, carry on with your healthy meal planning, but up your carbs slightly and allow yourself treats. Well Done again sweetie x

Thanks Belle. I am trying to find right balance but like you say i think it will be a case of a loss here and a gain there ect. Just feels weird as I have been so strict. Will try to add more carbs slowly as well. One thing I'm dying to eat and I have no idea why is chips and gravy...... I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE! I haven't eaten this since I was about 16.....strange!!! I have a few shopping trips planned so that will keep my focused to stay on track I think as will want to buy some clothes. I still have very little that fits! H bless him made a list of things we could ebay so we could make some extra cash so i can buy more clothes. thought it was rather sweet of him! PJ x

I put 1lb on, so 9 to get to target. Not surprised because I haven't weighed in for 3 weeks and haven't stuck at it. Got 5 weeks to do those 9lbs, so hopefully.

I think it'll be one of my meals when we are eating out on the caravan break! I'm sure ill gain there too so will be back to trying to lose it then Think my biggest challenged will be when im back to work and theres so much cake and crap being passed around.... But still ill only be at work for 3 weeks before summer holidays start so will have 6 off weeks to keep me going.....I don't even know why im worrying about it. I have proved I can do it so i'll do it again! Ahhhh, hate being such a worrier! It's ridiculous!

I've been proper slack lately because my sister crashing with us and our break away. I've not exercised in weeks and I'm dying to get back to it. I've done it before and like you can we can do it again!

Oh I am, but like you you feel like it's not enough if that makes sense? My H is stressing at me to not lose more, but I seriously need to exercise and there's a difference between the two.

Yes, I know how you feel. Cos its how I feel too! H is the same. He got a bit annoyed with me last night as we sat and watched a film and i wouldn't eat chocolate with him. It was like 9pm and i didnt want to eat that late anyways, but he thinks that im not giving myself a break. I know I need to let myself have a few treats but i see this weekend as a huge treat and it willstress me out. like you say i know i wont have time to exercise this weekend which will make it worse. Exercising really makes a difference though.

Are we married to the same guy? My H gets like that. When I was dieting properly we went out for a meal and he stressed at me cos I was taking ages choosing, I wanted the lowest carbs highest protein he just said let yourself go and enjoy. But you do it once it's a slippery slope. I mean look at me and the wine I've been drinking!

Just a qucky from me, SW i'm now at 18st 4.5lb, and 13.5lb off in total so far.
Weigh in tonight, although not feeling hopeful. I feel really bloated.
B - 2 weetabix
L - jacket spud with tuna salad stuff on
D - braised beef with onions, with new potatoes, carrots and beans
trying to minimise snacks today, and increase my water intake.

Ha! I think we could be! Mine spends most evenings fixing people's cars! He's love his own garage! Instead sells parts to garage. When we went to Fankies and Jenny's last I looked at menu online to pick before as I spent ages last time we were out!!! H didn't understand it at all!!
