What are you lot up to today?

Its half term here.  We've had a lazy morning so far this morning.  J is a bit poorly, he's loaded with cold, keeps shivering and can't really be bothered, he's currently sitting on the settee with a blanket watching a dvd.

E is going to a play scheme run by the council from 11-3pm and its free which is great.

I've got house work and ironing to do at some point in the day.  This afternoon I'll get J out for some fresh air somewhere.

C isn't great but I'm torn as I promised to take A swimming. It's typical isn't it. Will see how she is later.

If I don't go out I'll be making lists and throwing away rubbish. Only a month ish to go before I leave this fair county. Don't know where to yet but prob my mums.

    I hate going swimming.

Is your house sold then?  Is your ex having much to do with the kids?

Half term here too, Jacob is at nursery as I have to pay in the holidays anyway, so it's just me and Joshua. He's watching a DVD whilst I do some cleaning, and I want to get my sewing machine out later and try to finish some bunting that I've started. We might take a walk up to the shop later for some fresh air, and I need to make a few phone calls and sort out some appointments.

I mother funking hate swimming too. I tried not to moan because A loves it. Can you imagine how nasty it'll be in half term?

Holding off on news about the house, nothing concrete, don't want to tempt fate. Will update when I know for def :-)

Being fair to Himself, when he's around he has made quality time with both which I am pleased about. I worry when I move (reckon he'll locate in Cheshire) how easy it'll be and whether he'll be arsed. But all I can do is encourage it hey. Up to him.

    Half term here too.

J slept until 8.30, so that was fab, then both boys came into my bed for cuddles.

We're all still in our PJ's, eating pancakes, watching a DVD.

Weather is looking good, so a trip to the park after lunch is our plan for today. Might pick up a new DVD for C and me to watch later.

Margot - nice to have some one on one time. I don't know where you get the motivation I feel so lazy reading other people's plans. I'm hoping when I start working again it'll make me more motivated. Cause I'll have to be!

    Morning ladies,

SW hope J feels better soon! Sounds good for E, I used to love play scheme.

Beez, that sounds promising. Hope when you update it's all good.

Margot, have a nice day, hope you manage to get your machine out! I've been meaning to do some bits on mine for about 2 weeks!

And for me I am, cleaning the house. We had so much to do over the weekend that the house looked like a bomb had gone off! Then like Margot, I would like to do some machining. It's a glorious day here which is nice!

Margot enjoy the peace with just one child.

AK sounds like a good morning so far.

Beez our local leisure centre is minging, a new one is being built so I may be a bit more inclined to go to a clean building but still hate it.  At least he is making the effort with them, hopefully it will continue when you move.  What kind of job are you going to be looking for?

SW - well I suppose it's a case of who'll have me. I haven't worked for 11 years! In that time though I've run the parents association ( the headmaster will give me a ref, it's like a PT job) and I've helped set up all H's businesses, booked travel and organising trips abroad for him and his directors, etc so hoping I'll have some transferable skills. I've got a business degree which probably isn't that relevant but hopefully looks good to someone. I used to be a recruitment consultant (one of our businesses of a rec agency) but its near impossible to work PT in recruitment.

I'd quite like to be a estate agent! But in reality I'll probably end up in a call centre. Which I loved when I did it in my early 20's. It'd be a good social place to work which would help with relocating.

Sorry that was a bit long :-/

    Morning all.

We are having a lazy morning too. We said we would go to the library to get E some book on the Romans as that what she is doing at school. Need to go shopping and to the bank too.

This afternoon we are going to Sure Start to a singing group I take I to. Not sure what else.

Morning. Dry sunny morning here. I need to post some eBay parcels and then we're going to the park with my friend and her daughter. Before all that we need to get dressed as we're still in pjs here!

Yeah, the library does hire DVDs. C likes to watch things over and over again in his room, so works out cheaper to buy. Although he has around 300 DVD's, he may not need more Laugh

I've just got back from soft play with M & A.  F is back to school this week (in Wales half term was last week). M is now napping, A is watching Peppa Pig. My mum is coming to visit this afternoon then it'll be the usual school run.
