Where has it gone? Sorry, I am too lazy to search through all the pages for it!
I bought an excellent bargain last night in the clearance area in Tesco,
for £7.50! It's for my son who will be 8 at Christmas, he has already collected loads of the animals so will hopefully love this set.
I also bought the 9 Barbies for £2.88 each as recommended by Belle, so I now have a great stock for all the birthday parties. Any ideas for something similar for 4-5 year old boys? (Similar price too please!).
Happy shopping everyone, I'm really getting into it now!

If anyone has boys into Lego (or Lego type blocks), Home Bargains have a big Ben 10 brick lab set, for £4.99. It is £29.99 in Toys R Us.

Not very many love.
They had the Tweenies for 4 for £1, I got them just for my cupboard

Lou likes watching the Tweenies. I'm going to hunt the £1 shops and ebay for stuff.

Sorry, I meant the Tweenies plates, napkins and cups. 4 for £1. I bought plates etc from Asda.

CP, I have no idea what to get L either. I thought a cheapo tablet or a TV with built in DVD player as well.
He is getting into Tranformers, so maybe some of them
11/09/2013 at 10:06
L will be getting a mix of action figures & playsets, Leapfrog Tag reader & writer pen plus books, and games.
Girls are getting laptop each, perfume sets, makeup bags and earrings.

E is getting the princess palace thing as her main present
The kiddiezoom camera
Some Disney princess books
Cat in the Hat DVD
Disney princess snap cards
That's it. We've spent £80 on her, I aren't spending any more. She'll get some sweets in her stocking, and perhaps a new tooth brush and some bubble bath or something
S is getting this garage as his main present
Then he's also getting some wooden cars to go with it
WOW Flip it Fred truck http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3973677.htm
We've not spend quite as much on him as E, but they're getting about the same amount of presents, it's just I've had better bargains with S's gifts.
Again, he'll get some sweets, bubble bath, new toothbrush etc in his stocking.

Can't find it on the site, but they have had it in 2 homebargains I have been in to. TBH, it doesn't get very good reviews, but for a fiver, C can use the pieces to build other stuff.
It is this...
C has had this Star Wars Lego book before, and he loves it. Well worth it for star wars/lego fans, especially for £2.99. They also have a Harry Potter one.
I have also got C these Star Wars angry birds things. Dirt cheap
11/09/2013 at 11:19
Thanks AK, I will have a look at them. I saw those Angry Birds stuff, actually bought one for a present.
11/09/2013 at 11:20
C comments on the angry birds stuff every time we go in. He'll be chuffed when he sees I have bought him all of it. For those prices, you can't not get them really.

Just wondering if they are a bit old for L.
11/09/2013 at 11:37
How old is he?
J is 2, and has played with the gun, and balls at C's friends house. He got the idea, that you knock things over with them.

He is 4 on Halloween
