most things can be bought half price new these days so 2nd hand and with bits missing i'd not pay so much.

As everyone else has said. It's disappointing how little these things sell for if you paid full price for them, but as ELC in particular often has half price sales on then you'd be lucky to sell for that amount (unless brand new with tags). Saying that, it doesn't seem to matter how little is asked for them, some people will always try to knock you down, so if asking £5 make it clear you're not open to offers, or put it up for a few quid more and wait to see what is offered. It depends how quickly you want it gone. I also tend to ask around 30% of the full price if in good condition, the same goes for clothes.
