Are you restricted with liquids on the Eurostar like flights? And what about razor blades?

The info is on the Eurostar website, 3rd question down on this page www.eurostar.com/.../faqs :)

I did look on their website under prohibited but couldn't see anything about liquids.

I was trying to remember from when we travelled about 3 years ago. Compared to airline security Eurostar felt so much more relaxed all round.
And no there was none of this farce of not being able to take the liquids through but instead you can buy them all the other side.
My H is still annoyed about a pot of chutney he was bringing back from holiday last year that was confiscated before we got on the plane. Who knew that chutney counted as a liquid? Of course it was my fault for telling him with great confidence that it would be OK!

Cedar one of the girls here had to throw away a practically brand new bottle of Crème de la Mar hand cream at airport security! I wouldn't have decanted it and given it out amongst travellers but nope she just bought a new one!
It says no restrictions which is fab!

Taking liquids on board:
Drinks can be taken with you on board, however please remember that all items must pass through x-ray machines on departure at the security screening point when checking in. Therefore drinks not in sealed containers might be refused (open cups etc and those with loose lids as they will spill their contents when passing through the x-ray machine).
It is so much more relaxed than airline security though, definitely a much nicer experience.
