Morning everyone hope you are all ok. Back to work for me today (day shift) so loads to get sorform mmr now because with only having one car in doing all the ferrying about.
b- yoghurt and ooatbran
l- meat crisps and scrambled eg
t- beef stew

Would you mind if i joined in? I finally had my appointment with the doctors last night, and i have been given a 12 week referral to slimming world. If it works then i can continue paying to go, and if not, i need to go back to the doctors where i will get help from the dietician and be weighed there.
My weight is scary so i'd rather not divulge just yet, however it's safe to say i need to lose a hell of a lot of it.
Now sure how these threads work, is it just a case of posting what you're eating for the day?
If so, i am having the following:
B - 2 bread with ham and tomato toasted
L - Pasta salad which consists of pasta, kidney beans, sweetcorn, red pepper, tomato and tuna
D - Chicken breast with SW chips, baby sweetcorn
For snacks, i've got a pot of grapes, and 2 malted milk biscuits to go with my 11am coffee.

CP boo to being back at work. Chips, welcome, I have a chart which I update as and when people have weighed in. You don't need to tell us your weight, just let us know how much you have lost each week.
I had a great day yesterday, had a good session at the gym and ate well. Off to the gym soon for an hour's cardio and day 3 of the shred. B - apple, l - ryvita and salad, d - ready meal.

SW, missed you, sounds like a great day for you yesterday! I'm thinking of rejoining yhe gym but could only go at night once M is in bed and by that time I'm usually good for nothing!!

Snow-white / weekender, thanks for the welcome. I don't have scales in my house so i only have the start weight i have from the doctor. I have to wait for the voucher for slimming world to come through and then i can attend the classes, so i probably won't know how much i've lost for a couple of weeks. I know 3 people IRL, who have lost a lot of weight on SW, so i'm hoping it'll work for me.

CP - do you find day shift better for eating?

Weekender - You asked yesterday if I would be upping my food intake now I'm under 10st. I will be slightly & allowing myself extras now & then.
AFM - Completed day 5 of 30DS last night, well chuffed with myself. H was working late so he grabbed us a small chicken kebab each for dinner. Today I've just had a chunk of tiffin for breakfast (damn train buddy baking goodies!) but have lentil stew for lunch and dinner also as it needs using up.

How do you all fit your exercise in? Do you do it at home? I do 1 hour of zumba a week, H has the kids. My mum has the kids during the day in the week, and so i feel bad asking her to have them in an evening or at weekends so i can do something, and working full time means i can't go in the day.

A lot of us are doing the 30 Day Shred challenge. It's a 30 minute workout dvd, with different levels of impact. 5 mins warm up & down, the 3 x cardio, strength & abs. I was getting up at 5.30am and doing it but now I tend to do it once L is in bed of an evening.

Morning ladies and welcome Chids. Am on my way into work right now. Not a bad day yesterday apart from cake but the lunch and dinner were low calorie so its probably OK.
I did 6 week 6 pack this morning. Can't say I enjoyed it much but its done! Chids I get up at 6am and do an exercise DVD three or four times a week and go swimming Saturday morning. I find if I do it in the morning then I have more resolve! If you can build in some walking into your day - at lunch time at work - then that will help. I also use the stairs at work as well rather than the lift. Look for little ways you can build in more exercise it doesn't have to be an exercise class - calories burned is the aim.

I am already up at 6 to try and get everyone out of the house by 7.30 so i can be at work for 8, so realistically don't want to be getting up any earlier. I'll have to try something in the evening. I am terrible for taking the lift at work, so will start to use the stairs.

No sign if car, insurance company say we have to make appointment to speak to them re theft so that's Friday !!!! The sane happened to one if the school mums only it was her hs motor bike they took and some loose change! F*ckers!
Belle, on nights I just tend to eat when I can/when I'm awake and often I don't feel like big meals, whereas on days its more structured into 3 meals iyswim. Although 90% of the time we don't get our break so I'm sat eating my lunch now just incase I don't get anything later.
