I have appointed a solicitors and had someone come out to quote for removals - both packing and non-packing. She made it sound easy In theory I am trying to arrange to view 6 properties for Sunday. Need to organise an appointment with the bank. Going to ring catteries tomorrow to see about the cats for the move. Not sure what else to do for now. Will need to get an application form for the new nursery. Need to do an online admission for change of schools, but that is difficult to do as I don't have a moving date yet. Also trying for a final planned declutter!
I've tried not to do any shopping, although I completely restocked everything before Christmas so the cupboards are full to bursting!
This is the beginning of our new lives So excited!

How soon are you looking to move QI?
Things to think about closer to the time, insurances, mail redirection, energy suppliers...
Sounds like you've got a new lease of life though!

As soon as possible WE But the ideal would be over the Easter holidays but I'm not sure how that would work in reality. The people that came out to quote for removals left me a complimentary checklist for moving - tis FAB!

Sounds like a fab day of getting lots done
When I sold my house it was around a similar time to this, and we managed to move at the end of April (very short chain, we moved to an empty house, and had first time buyers buying my house) - it was supposed to be a couple of weeks earlier, so very possible you'll get in for Easter all being well!
Hope U is feeling better today xx

Its good that things are finally moving QI.
The people we bought our house from paid the removals company to pack for them and they did the whole house in less than a day. I'd definitely consider it if we were moving. The only thing to remember is that they will pack everything so the more decluttering you do the better.
Do you know which school you want B to go to when you move? My friend had lots of contact with the head teacher of the school while she was waiting for the move to be confirmed - she knew there was a place there and they invited her daughter in to spend an afternoon with her new class (it was a move over the summer holidays so she visited at the end of the summer term which meant that she was more reassured over the summer about the whole thing).
