So it was my eldest's christmas show today
Bah, sitting here in tears, what's wrong with me

Oh why you upset? the show was good?

The show was amazing and my son said his lines so well.
I was so nervous before hand and I took my camera to film him and I admit I'm not a sit still kind of person but the man behind me kept telling me off - telling me to sit still.
I was so embarrassed, I only wanted to see my little boy. I was so proud of him and now I feel like that grumpy horrible man has ruined the whole thing for me, I'm sitting here sobbing at home.

Oh Pingu what an ass hole the man sounds!
Glad your boy did you proud tho x

Sounds like a plonker. You should've told him to wind his neck in, you're an adult not a child!
He was being a spoilsport, not worth getting yourself in a tiz about. What part did your boy play?

Oh man I can't stop blubbing!
Why didn't he just move if he didn't like it? Grr.
I don't want this to be all I remember about the show.
My son was Jack Frost and he had a couple of lines, he said them really nicely and clearly.

one thing I have learned in all my wise years is not to let the actions of others upset you. it really isn't worth it. Your son did you proud, you got to see him play his part. apart from the man it was fab? so ignore him and concentrate on how well your son did

Thanks slightlymad. My son was fab, I think that's half the reason I'm so emotional!

I remember my eldest daughters first xmas performance back in 1994, I couldn't see her, she had no lines and I was still a wreck!

Try to forget about that rude man, and just remember how proud of your big boy your are xx

Thanks all. Better put the tissues away now!
