I know its a few weeks off, but what will you be doing with your OH's? Do you exchange gifts?
I bought my H a card at the weekend - card factory had some great ones, really funny, made me laugh out loud in the shop.
One had I love your then a picture of a cockeral, the other one said I love your and a pricture of 2 burger baps, and others like Bang Tidy. 59p bargain too!

I'm going to ake the effort with VD this year. We never do anything but what with my NYR of being more attentive towards my H i think I might cook something and have a sexy night in. May not be on the 14th but we will be celebrating.
We don't usually do anything, but its a Thursday this year isn't it? I am going to get him a present and a card and cook a nice meal. I think that I have been a crap wife lately

We never do anything. Don't even buy cards for each other but I might if I remember this year!!!

I usually cook a 3 course meal at home. But because we are both off that week, i have left OH in charge. Whether he chooses to cook or book a table somewhere, its al up to him. I'd be happy with either.
We'll exchange cards, unlikley we'l do presents as its my birthday a few days before and its hurting his brain thinking of what to get me for that lol

I am trying to make more of an effort with H this year after a crap year last year. So we will probably do something. He's usually on an early on a thursday, so might see if we can get a baby sitter and go out for a meal.

We did pre-children. Now we get cards for each other and I cook dinner. It'll be the same this year too.

We dont bother - we celebrate two days earlier which is the anniversary of our engagement. That said we usually just do cards, meal in or something.

I think I will ask H if he wants to cook or I will and have a session in the bedroom!

Spunds good 1stBaby - nothing like a good old sesh. You might be brave enough to try your pueple monster!

The purple monster has been out to play once now - it was ok but not great tbh. I am more interested in trying the endless love one i got from as in the sale.

We'll most probably do the usual exchange of card and small gift, then takeaway or nice meal in the evening once C has gone to bed.
Oh I didn't know that! Glad you gave it a try I'm no off to google endless love

No way! I detest valentines day so it's just a normal everyday day to us.
22/01/2013 at 13:34
We never do anything, I refuse to buy a card or go out for dinner as its just a ploy to get money out of you. I actually think I'm nightshift that night anyway and I doubt my h would even know its valentines day
22/01/2013 at 14:15
Nah, we don't bother.

I'll have an approx 10 day old baby, so hoping that H might put some of his paternity leave to good use and maybe sort out a nice meal. I say sort out rather than cook because he's rubbish at that. Some lovely chocs and a nice glass of wine might be lovely too. Nothing too ambitious this year!

We usually exchange cards but that's it. We celebrate the anniversary of our engagement on the 11th Feb instead as that's more personal for us. We sometimes go for a meal for that.
22/01/2013 at 16:25
We might have a nice meal in. I'm not too bothered as my H proposed on Valentines day (bit of a cliche!) and its hard to top that. Plus its our wedding anniversary next week so we'll be going out for that. It has more meaning obviously.
Funny in the old Hitched wedding planning days there used to be posts from slightly hysterical brides to be about what their OHs were doing. Now on here, most people seem to be a bit "whatever". Is this what having children does to you?!
