After a post a few weeks back, I'm wondering how many of us who don't normally celebrate Valentine's Day but said we'd make an effort this year, have actually made plans?
I haven't! I've bought H a card but it's difficult being romantic when you have a 3 year old and a teenager in the house.

We aren't doing a thing...not even cards xx

I've bought a card, some chocolates and cupcakes at lunch time, and we've planned what meal we're having once we've put C to bed - fajitas, mmmm! That's all really.

I bought him a card (usually make it but just haven't had time), a book and may make some cakes, but he's on a healthy eating kick, so these may be wasted. We're going to Amsterdam for a long weekend on wednesday evening, but that is more luck that it fell on Valentines, rather than specifically for Valentines.

I haven't even got H a card...
I did buy a V day card today, but it is for C to give his gf.

We exchange cards. My H is a proper tea snob recently and his card says something like you are my cup of tea and I;ve bought him a box of teabags lol.
He is cooking me a thai on saturday and I am tying him up lol!!!

We celebrate today (the anniversary of our engagement) -'we've done cards and i have made him some cakes as a surprise when he gets home. He is cooking steak for tea for me! Easily pleased.

We don't do Valentines, we celebrate our anniversary and thats enough for me

I have brought H a card, small box of chocs, 2 bottles of lager, scratch cards and £10 for him to pick a CD he wants. We always exchange cards but thought i would also pick up a little something as it's our first married valentines together.
We are also going out for a meal on Friday night!
Not as lucky as Mr 1stbaby

Ooooh love it 1stbaby! What youtying him up with and what do you plan to do? Share your plan of seduction...

Lol! We were at BW on Sunday and he said Oh how about I cook you a thai on saturday which I misheard as Im tying you up on saturday, so he laughed and said yeah sounds like fun, doubt it will happen though! I told you I am not used to all this foreplay/kinky sex stuff! Although those love ball jiggly things are working!
12/02/2013 at 14:48
Hmmm what ball jiggly things? I might try!
Make it happen! Tie him up with a work tie.
Put a chair in front of a mirror so he can see you. Hands behind back, around the back of a chair, tie his hands tight. Then wearing sexy undies & heels stand in front of him, kiss him slowly all over, bendng over and teasing as you work your way around the body. Don't forget to go behind him, run your hands down his chest, play with his balls....he'll love it!
We never do anything, the whole thing is a con, huge money making exercise, similar to Mother's Day really but I but cards only then. I would never go out, restaurants always add in extra tables so its all cramped and over priced. I always find it cringeworthy when they have people on this morning/daybreak proposing.

I've got my H a chocolate football shirt from thorntons and had them with love you on it. I've also got him a card. I know i've got a card as he bought it a couple of weeks ago. H is working a late shift though so we won't be doing anything special.
12/02/2013 at 15:30
We've decided not to buy presents or even cards this year. We'll probably just cook something nice at home to be honest.
12/02/2013 at 15:33
We usually do a card and one of those M&S meal deal things- not particularly romantic but neither of us are too fussed!
12/02/2013 at 15:59
This year we are just doing cards and a M&S valentines meal for two. H is not very big on valentines day but am sure he would change his mind if I were to finish the evening as Belle suggested!!
12/02/2013 at 16:03
When we were first dating we would go out for dinner on Valentine's night. I soon learnt how busy restaurants are and it isn't worth the money that night. So now we exchange cards.
I will hardly see my H this Thursday. I will have left for work before he is up with the kids. I am then going to a funeral mass from work (burial is in another country). By the time I get home it will be gone 9!

Belle I think your calling in life is as a sex therapist! Our very own Tracey Cox!
I'll let you know how it goes lol x
