Sorry I've been AWOL but this has been going on and it's left me a bit numb.
This may be quite graphic and is sensetive so I am sorry built I could do with talking.
I am on my first lot of the depo injection but very stupidly I think we DTD before I was covered by it. I've had bloatedness sore boobs and pains in my tummy which could all be pregnancy but I immediately wrote them off as the Depo side effects. From working things backwards if I was pregnant it could have been about 7/8 weeks. i was on the injection before Shea and never bled. This time last week I started bleeding bright red blood but more intermittently than a normal period. Come Sunday night I took pain killers as my back and tummy were in agony, I sat on the toilet for about 40 mins in excruciating pain and then passed an empty sac. It was triangular in shape and about 2" in size with one small hole in one corner. Straight after I bled loads and since in bbleeding intermitently still but still bright red. My normal periods would only be about 4 days and nothing like this.
Im so sorry for the content of this post but hours of googling aren't getting me anywhere. Does it sound like a miscarriage? To add, I did a cheap pregnancy test 2 days after passing the large mass and it was negative?

I can't tell you one way or another but it might well be worth either going tot he GPs or whether you got the injection from and just getting checked out. I have foudn the way my body reacts to contracpetives is differently once you have been pregnant previously but I think you should get checked over to be on the safe side

It's hard to say, I certainly had lots of clots and passed one that was about 1" (I was about 6 weeks). What you've described sounds similar but I'd go and see the doctor to get a clearer answer. Sorry that this has happened to you xx

Sorry this is happening QS. It's hard to say if it is a mc though, as contraception can do diff things go different people.
Might be worth going to the Drs, just for peace of mind, if nothing else.

I experienced similar to what you have described, particularly passing contents that wasn't a clot. As others have said, perhaps see your GP. Big hugs xx

Thank you, I should see the doctor but keep putting it off I suppose.
If anyone further reads this can I ask a question. I'm carrying on as usual, and I've been feeling ill. Headaches, stomach ache, week legs and sickly. Yesterday I stayed in and didn't do much, the bleeding stopped and I didn't feel to bad. Back to shopping and running about today and I feel cr@p again and the bleeding has started back up. Is this normal if it's just a bleed on depo do you know or something more?

Please go to the GP, there are other things that could be wrong and I didn't want to worry you but please get checked out

Wasn't trying to scare you, I had an incomplete one years ago and got very ill afterwards but genuinely not trying to scare you Just don't want you getting ill like I did.

]No I appreciate it, I mean that. I'm sorry, I didn't know you had had a loss . Tbh, that's what my gut is telling me and why I was scared if being seen. I feel heavy and quite a but of pressure on and off, I don't think I've passed everything If that is what's happening. Thanks for talking x
03/11/2013 at 15:47
I've had a couple unfortunately but know now what causes them at least.

I wasn't going to pull the thread up again but I owe everyone an update. Thanks for talking and pushing me to see a Gp. I went today, I got the full MOT, she said it could well have been a pregnancy but that I'm not anymore and as you said I won't be sure now. At the time I wasn't bleeding but it's started up again now but I don't think that matters. She was lovely and I'm glad I went. I just wish the bleeding would stop now so I can stop bring reminded, although that can just be from the depo. So thanks again for the support it means a lot x
